Silmarwen smiled slightly then brought her knees up close to her and rested her forehead on her knees, closing her eyes wearily.

Niell awoke suddenly, his breathing was heavy and he was covered in a cold sweat. He looked around frantically and realized where he was. He ran a hand through his damp hair. He must have been dreaming, but it had seemed so real. He glanced over at Silmarwen, he hoped he hadn't woken her but he couldn't tell if she was awake or still asleep.

Silmarwen pulled her cloak close about her, shivering as the cold feeling still clung to her, making it unable for her to fall asleep. She glanced over and noticed Niell seemed nervous, almost as though he had seen a ghost or had awoken from a bad dream. "Are you alright?..." she questioned with concern in her voice.

Niell jumped at the sound of her voice. "I'm fine, did I wake you?"

Silmarwen shook her head, "no, you didn't wake me. I couldn't sleep." She looked at him, her brows furrowed. "Are you sure you're alright?... you look like you had a bad dream, even your hair is damp from a sweat... " Silmarwen had a habit of sensing when something might be wrong, and a bad habit of prying until she found out what it was. She hoped the arrow hadn't been poisoned, but she had forgotten to check the shaft after she had removed it.

Niell nodded, "I'm fine, just had a bad dream." He settled back against the tree again. He suddenly felt very sick to his stomach, his pulse still hadn't slowed and he found himelf glancing around the clearing nervously.

"What was the dream, that it troubled you so?..." Silmarwen questioned quietly. She kept her eyes on him, noticing how nervous he seemed.

"It was only a dream, nothing more," he said quickly trying to make his smile reassuring.

Silmarwen frowned slightly, "I do not believe you, but I shall let it slip... this once..." She spoke in a softer tone, "if you ever want to speak about it, I'm here to listen. After all... you did risk your life for my sake... I am more than grateful, and could never repay you enough in any way..."

Niell shook his head and sighed. "Not to be rude but I wish you wouldn't thank me. You act as though I have done some heroic deed when in truth I only retrieved a bottle."

Silmarwen shook her head with a slight chuckle, "I guess you want me to again call you the enemy? No, I refuse to do so... there is no true enemy in you, and I shall continue to thank you." She looked at him with a sincere smile, "You deserve more credit than you think, because if you were truly an uncaring enemy, you would not even have dared to offer to provide the antidote. You retrieved a bottle, yes, and you also aquired an arrow in your back. That is not a deed to be taken lightly, it is not just an every day errand, and do not expect me to treat it as such."

Niell couldn't help but laugh. "So I suppose that saying the arrow didn't hurt would be a futile effort?"

Silmarwen again chuckled and nodded. "You are correct in that assumption. Speaking of which... how does it feel now? Has the bleeding stopped?"

Niell leaned forward and took the vest off the wound. "It feels much better and I don't think it's bleeding anymore." He looked down at the vest which was covered in dried blood. "I'm afraid I've ruined your vest, perhaps I will have to go get you a new one," he smirked as he said this in a joking tone.

"Good, good...just don't move around too much for a while." Silmarwen grinned, "nah, I can make another vest when I get the chance. Keep that one as a souvenir."

Niell raised his brows as he looked at the vest. "Well thank you. The dark elves will be green with envy." He grinned at the thought, "They've never gotten a gift from a she elf."
