Ahh!!! too many presents to buy! I hope I survive. You can never find anything in novelty shops. Like that stupid scarf store has no good scarves!! and the hat shop has hats for like $30. I prefer department stores or stores like Hollister and American Eagle.

I like lazy Saturday morinings, you know the kind of morning when no one is doing chores, you get to sleep or have fun with your family in the biggest bed in the house 8) you know you all kinds of stuff, tickle eachother play fight and other things, read, study, and suddently everything seems fore fun than usual.
When I was in Puerto Rico, I loved to spend these kind of mornings either, playing with my dogs or if I spend Friday night in my friends house, just lay in the bed carrying out extremly complicated conversations you know the kind of conversations with hidden meanings in every sentence.
What do you Elf friends do in these kind of mornings?

That sounds like a good schedeule, actually Alane. But, sadly, I already have the schedule and it does me no good.

evenstar of mirkwood....socks....Let me tell you about socks.

Socks were first sent to earth on the alien space craft the Farseiral.

Renched with the foul odders of there alien creators they searched out the one thing that could eliviate there foulness... The Human Foot!

As ledgend has it the Human foot had the capability to destroy the Alien odders from there fabrics. Together the nation of socks sought out humans who would be willing to touch them with there feet...but to no avail.

After long hardship and sadness the socks entered there first winter on earth and began to see how peoples feet got cold.

So there briliant minds devised a devious plan to con the humans. They would form themselves into the shape of the human foot, making a warm covering for them.

All over the world socks were transforming into feet warmers!

Suddenly there alien stench was gone! But it was replaced by the foul repugnent odder of the human foot! Now, drenched with this smell from birth it is every socks goal in life to escape it's human capters and return to there homeworld of Silatronia.

And THAT is why socks disapear my friends! It is it is.

Thanks for posting about the socks, Jax Nova! Now I know why they disappear so mysteriously. And why they try to slide off my feet. Hmm, just had a thought. I sure hope the socks don't ever decide to have an uprising against humans and take over earth! *glances suspiciously at her socks*
