Jaden expressed his gratitude to Luinnar as he continued to block attacks from the few orcs that were left standing.

Jaden blocks yet another attack as Azher roasts the enemy in a puff of scorching fire.

"Down!" Jaden yelled to Luinnar and Halia who were both infront of him. He threw his sword through the air.
His sword twirled ten fifteen feet and stuck through one of the few orc bowman who carried a cross bow.

Then, to the surpise of many around him the sword flew through the air back to him. and he continued to fight.

Luinnar ducks instinctively as Jaden calls to them, whirling and cutting the fet out from under an orc beside her. She takes the flying sword at face value, the extent of her surprise the raising of one eyebrow as she hacks through a stray orc's neck.

Lithoniel saw the number of live orcs depleting and the number of dead orcs increasing rapidly and a number of survivors were retreating. "Keep at them!" she cried as she felled an orc that had charged at her. The fight was almost over.

Arthion killed one, no two, no... four more orcs and kept at it. Then he ran after some that were retreating and killed three. They were winning the battle, but would they win the war.

(Nice ending sentence there...lol)

Darrell hacked through two of the remaining orcs, as he loked around he could see very few that where close enough to use his sword on. He sheathed his sword and unshouldered his bow, glad to see he still had many arrows. nocking one to his string, he sighted at the back of one o the retreating orcs. He released the arrow and watched its flight, smiling grimly as it embeds into the base of the orcs neck. Taking another arrow from his quiver, he started searching out his next target.

Halia ducked quicky as Jaden yelled and chopped off the legs of an orc in the process. Then standing back up she ran into a group running and charging Luinnar from the back. Hacking through the last one of them she glanced up and seeing that they were quickly winning now she was filled with a new strenthg and began swiftly twirling and chopping al through the orcs.

Jaden continued to fight the three orcs that were close to him, and with Azher's help they were brought down in a matter of half a minute.

Jaden looked around, the few orcs that were left were scattered through the army of elves and men.

Jaden blocked as another stray orc attacked. Kicking it in the head from the back of his horse he flung it's sword to the side and came back with the lethle blow that hacked it's head from it's shoulders.

As the orcs were weeded out Halia jumped back on Elaria and chased down the fleeing orcs.

Luinnar wheels her horse and is about to hack off a wounded orc's head, then stops. She leaps down from her horse and kicks it to the ground, then places her foot on the orc's chest and her sword-tip at its throat. "Perhaps you can tell me what I wish t'know...." Her smile is malicious and her piercing blue eys glitter wickedly. "Either that, or you're useless, and I'm sure you know what happens to useless servants...."

The orcs were defeated. Those that remained alive were badly wounded, some never made it back to the fortress. Lithoniel mounted her horse and rode up beside Luinnar with a grim smile on her face and said "Well, I think they know we're here now!" She cleaned her sword and sheathed it. Then she turned to look at the battlefield, several elves and men lay wounded. "All ablebodied! Hearken to me! Carry the wounded to the tents on the top of the hill! Quickly now!" she yelled and then added more softly so that only those around her heard "We must not loose more than we have already."

Arthion finished off an orc then hearing his cousin he reached for the nearest elf who was lying on the ground, a deep gash in his arm, he was surrounded by dead orcs.
"Tolo hi! Hebo estel" the elf nodded wearily and tried to move. Arthion pulled him up and helped him to the tent. When they got there, Arthion helped the elf to a bed and asked
"Man eneth lín?"
Weakly the elf replied "Estannen Tawarthion"
"Ai, Eneth palan hebo vin. Im Arthion."
"Rim hennaid, Arthion." said Tawarthion gratefully.
"Gelir na thaed." Arthion replied then added as another elf came to treat Tawarthion "No ce ammaer ab lû thent."
Arthion walked out of the tent with a sigh. He then cleaned his sword and sheathed it. He looked around for his cousin. Spotting her tending a wounded man he headed for her.

(I've always wanted to rp an entirely elvish conversation!! I know, now you want a translation! here goes:
"Come now! Have hope."
"What is your name?"
"I'm called Tawarthion."
"Ah, we have a common name. I'm Arthion."
"Many thanks, Arthion."
"Happy to help.... May you be better soon."

Isteleth walked out of the room without another glance at both her parents, she was headed towards the tower that held the beacons.

When she reached it she ordered the guards to light it, saying that the order came from her father, she then watched as the large beacon erupeted into flames, the power of the flames so strong that she could feel the heat as she walked back along the corridor.

She then sent a message for all soldiers to be ready to leave in the next half an hour all armoured and with a weapon.
She then retreated to her room where she freshended up, changed, packed her bag with fresh food and water, she then placed 2 daggers in a sheath that lay under her skirts around her leg, she then lifted her sword and belted it round her waist and last of all slung her bow and quiver of arrows over her back.

She lifted her pack and walked out of her room and down into the stables where sorted out her mare Sirith, she then mounted and rode into the courtyard where a few soldiers were waiting ready.

The orc fell to the ground as Lady Lithoniel gave the orders.

Jaden ran, grabed his sword, cleaned it, shiethed it, and moved for the nearest wounded.

They had lost to many to be honest, it was oing to be a tough fight to take angmar.
