Of course the Witch did both of those things. And thanks to the apple she turned a white color in her skin. Turning her into what we know as the white witch. Aslan really just banished her to the Underworld. So later on she finds a way out as the Green Witch. And begins yet another plan to take over Narnia. But one question remains Why would Rillian be able to kill her if she is immortal. I think it's because I believe you can kill her with a sword. Or maybe it was because she turned into a serphant don't know for sure.
But the truth be told Jadis has been a three different witches they were all her. Hmmm, that's a topic that has been debated for a while at NarniaWeb. I used to think they were the same, but Aslan actually killed Jadis in the Battle of Beruna. Do you know where it says he banished her to the underworld? I don't think I've ever heard that before. Here is what I found in the Silver Chair, page 240: And now they all saw what it meant; how a wicked Witch (doubtless the same kind as that White Witch who had brought the Great Winter on Narnia long ago) had contrived the whole thing. But it is strange that the character description says otherwise: ...Completely evil, she is also very dangerous, even in the Silver Chair. Very interesting... Yes indeed and this thing that's said in Sliver Chair gives you a good idea that she is Jadis.
Read this and you'll see what I mean:

Yet, while I lived, all Earth was under me.

I'm not entirely sure what the discussion is right now, I've never read all the books, just part of The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe. And I saw the movie of course. I'll try to understand.... _________________

Very confusing I wish there was a way to find out if C.S. Lewis meant that when he wrote the two characters. I think it may be. Cause he doesn't use random characters all of them have a history. And I believe the witch is one and the same.

I read the page and it only shows that the witch was underneath him. So how do we know for sure that he did kill the witch?
