Tindomerel got a good look at the rider as she stopped. "Aunt Elenanna! It's wonderful to see you! What are you doing here? I thought you were in the North?"
So far, she had found two elves and no Rangers. Strange...

"I was, but your father summoned me to Imraldis." she said, a smile upon her lips upon recognizing her youngest neice.

Tindomerel was deeply puzzled. She hadn't known. That's strange...
"He didn't tell me," said Tindomerel, smiling at her aunt, "And I was only there two days ago."

"Strange," said Tindomerel, cocking her head, lightly, "He normally tells me who is going in and out of Imladris. I help the Rangers around the area, so I like to be informed."

The elf maiden realized that her aunt might not know Rhan. "Oh, this is Rhan," said Tindomerel, "I was out looking for some of the Rangers in the area and I find elves instead. Queer. And not a single ranger about!"

A smile came upon her lips and she nodded to the other elven lady.

Tindomerel was thinking over things as Rhan greeted her aunt. Where were the Rangers? This was strange. Tindomerel could make any sense out of it. Normally, she would just think that they had some else so scare, by popping out of the shadows, but somehow, this felt different.

"Aunt Elenanna," said Tindomerel, calmly, "I would normally acompany you to Imladris, but I must find the Rangers. They all seem to have disappeared from the area."
She then turned to Rhan. "You may acompany me, if you wish, Rhan."

Tindomerel smiled gently at Rhan. "Thank you, Rhan," she said, "I shall need as much help as possible. Rangers hide themselves well. And you never know where they are hiding."

Tindomerel looked at her aunt, then pointed down the road. "That is the way to Imladris, Aunt. Follow the road to the fork. Even though the sign says go left, take the right."

"I know, neice.." she said, with slight scarcasm. She bowed her head slightly before spurring her Meara ahead, and the mare took off. She galloped silently, but then stopped, hearing voices.

Her silver eyes looked left and right, then caught some movement. Her ears picked up some of the converstation.

"Ere's a good place to rest!" Her eyes narrowed when she recognized that voice as that of an orc's. She dismounteed her mare, and her right hand went to her sword. She motioned to the mare to leave, before moving ahead.

Tindomerel had seen her aunt stop and dismount, just a little ways down the road. She opened her mouth to call to her, when she heard the voices.
"Good thing there ain't any of them rangers about," said another voice.
"Yrch," she muttered to Rhan.
Silently, she pulled out her elven sword. She quickly listened to the sound of their feet as she thought they sat down. There was only about ten, maybe more, but she really couldn't tell.
Where were the rangers when you needed them?

Rhavaniel nodded, and drew an arrow. The two hunting dogs raised the shackles, but stayed still.
