"The Age of the Understatement" - http://youtube.com/watch?v=XGV8xCkpXjE

I don't know how many Arctic Monkeys fans we have on here, but The Last Shadow Puppets is Alex Turner's side project with some other guy I've never heard of. I really like their sound, Alex's vocals combined with the Knights of Cydonia-ish vocals makes for complete awesomeness.

The album's out April 21 in the UK and May 6 in the US.

Hey, is this you being creepily psychic and indirectly mocking me for having already bought that issue of NME? :eyeroll:

Pssh. The second album is really what made me a Monkeys fan. Until then I'd never gotten past "I Bet You Look Good On the Dancefloor."

Aanyway, I think the 113 plays this has gotten in the last two days speaks for itself when it comes to my opinion.

I'd heard of the side project before but I've only just listened to "The Age Of The Understatment". Totally wicked.

It makes me want to go and listen to Arctic Monkeys again.

The Junghans Max Bill link will also wear much smaller than the NOMOS Tangente, which is well known for having long, extended lugs that frame the flat, circular Tangente case but cause the watch to sit a good bit larger than its listed diameter. Another link difference link is the sliver of lume on the thin handset of the Max Bill; the Tangente has no luminescent details.
