Arinae saw light up ahead, but at the same time heard the whistle of an arrow, ducking her head just in time. Glancing back she muttered curses. "Do goblins come out in daylight or will they leave us be?"

Tindomerel had been running and slashing at the goblins with everything she had in her. When Rhayader said he would stay behind Tindomerel was about to object. But then the others stayed with him, and so did she, sending Lebethron up the stairs ahead of them. Nimloth's white fur was stained with blood. The brave wolf was ripping at the goblins, taking her fair share down.

Tindomerel put away her sword and nocked an arrow. She let go and the arrow flew and hit it's mark, well, nearly. It hit the goblin that was behind the goblin she was aiming at. She saw Rhayader get on Arinae's horse. She quickly spoke a few Elvish words to Nimloth. The wolf ran after Arinae, who was leading the horse. Tindomerel had ordered her to go with them. She wanted to stay at the back for a moment, to kill off as many goblins as she could, even if her aim was horrible.

Corus sighed from relief as he saw daylight, he began running towards it and soon enough he saw the lands of Rohan, he turned to look back into the darkness where the goblins yelled at them and shot badly aimed arrows. Corus walked away from the entrance looking around and then looking at the others.

"Wel it seems my work here is done... I got you out of there and I guess that repays something wrong what I have done..."

Corus said as he drew his hood over his head and began walking away with his bagpack hanging on his shoulder.

"Lady Tin!" Arinae called behind as the elf stayed behind. "It will help nothing if you are to stay behind and become entrapped somehow... " She clenched her jaw and concidered returning to the elf's side. Elves were fearless, a little too fearless at times, in Arinae's opinion, but none the less, she admired them.

"Wait!" Arinae called after Corus. She sprinted over and came in front of him. "Before you go on your way, I wish to thank you for all you have done, and I hope that whatever is in your past, shall be forgotten." She bowed deeply before seeing to it that Stardance didn't take off. The horse whinnied shrilly at the sight of his home lands.

Corus hmhed slightly.

"Thank you for your kind words, but my crimes can`t be payed back with hope I am afraid, but of course we can always hope for better days... by the way... I have never learned the rangers name... what is it?"

Corus asked with a smile.

Tindomerel quickly retreated. She would have stayed, wanting to kill off everyone of those goblins, but then she realized that she was breathing heavily. For some strange reason, she had problems pulling back her bow before. She looked to see in the sunlight, that an arrow had nipped the side of her right shoulder. The cut wasn't very deep, but it still pained her.

Tindomerel covered the cut with her hand, thinking that she could take care of it later. "Yes," she said, to Corus, "You have my thanks, also."
She noticed that Lebethron was eatting some grass, just outside. The stallion looking up at the group as if to say, "Where have you been?"

She then remembered that the ranger was wounded. "Rhayader!" she said, running over to him, "Are you well?"

Rhayader watched them and stumbled over breathless. He reached out a hand.
"Rhayader"
He said and before he could shake Corus' hand he fell down, feeling too weak. He soon fell uncncious and coughed up some blood.

"Aye... this is not good..." Arinae went over to the said ranger and rolled him to his side. Examining the arrows carefully, she grasped one by the shaft and since it wasn't in very deep, she pulled it out with a swift motion. "...that must've hurt... but this'll hurt worse." she said as she nodded her head towards the one in his thigh. "Help me hold him, Lady Tin, he might struggle even if he is unconcious for now..."

((Just thought I'd ask. ))

Tindomerel knelt by his side. She knew that she most likely would not be able to hold him down if he did struggle, because of her arm, but it was worth a try. She held him down.
"Go ahead," she said, looking at Arinae, then casting a deeply worried glance at Rhayader, "I think I have some herbs in my pack. They might be a bit dried up, but..."

"I have some herbs as well, fresher but few, so combind yours and mine may do..." Arinae gritted her teeth and snapped the fletching end of the arrow in Rhayader's thigh. She carefully pushed the arrow the rest of the way through to the other side of his leg, then grasped the bloody shaft above the arrow head itself and pulled it out fully.

Tindomerel whinced as she saw Arinae pull out the arrow. She hated to think of others in pain. She put her left hand out Rhayader's forehead. She pulled it away for a moment and saw that his forehead had a blood stain on it. She looked at her hand, realizing it was the one she covered her own wound with. She quickly hid it behind her back.

Arinae noticed the movement and the blood and looked at the elf. "Are you wounded as well?" she asked urgently while she began to bind Rhayader's leg tightly in cloth from her satchel, having cleansed the wound as much as she could with water and crushed some of the herbs over it. She began to tend his other wound (in the back was it?...) though it didn't seem to be deep as the arrow most likely had deflected off the stone before hitting him.
