Personally I don't think having magic abilities for elves makes RPing very fun, but that's just from personal experience over three years.

"I am called Sirithadar Ondomaethor, my lady. I command the warriors of Lorien under my lord Haldir. A group of around 50 is under my direct command," Sirithadar said. "I have not met you before - by what name do you go by?" he asked.

"Rhan. My mother named me Rhavaniel, but the guards never remember it, so its just Rhan mylord Sirithadar . Though I have no company, I am the high archeress of Lorien." she grinned.

"Indeed, I am come but recently to that fair land, after many years of wandering in the far reaches, and I have not gone often to Caras Galadhon. My place is not in safety, but in danger. Indeed, I am hardly able to rest if I am in peace, for I feel that I must always seek foes, and I do not know what I shall do when the last orcs are destroyed."

"How far off, my lady?" Sirithadar asked quickly, his eyes gleaming. There may yet be a chance for battle before the Mines. "Are they near enough to kill before supper?"

She ran a quick calculation through her mind "I guess, they nearly caught up witgh me at one point, though thanks to my trusty steed... Yes, yes I should think so."

"My lord Haldir, I will return soon," Sirithadar said, striding off. He walked to where his men were camped. Taking twenty of them, they set off at a brisk, silent, and unseen walk in the direction Rhavaniel had said the Uruks were coming from.

Haldir waved a hand in parting, and steered Rhan into the tent "Something to drink?-"Just water..."-"To eat?"-"Nothing. I'm not hungry."-"Your not going after the Uruks." He said sternly, shoving a glass in her direction "But you are?". She said bitterly. "No, I have have buissness here." he snapped.

Sirithadar stood alone on the path, his sword in his hand, the blade gleaming white. He could hear the orcs getting closer, almost around the bend....
There. The first orcs rounded the bend, and stopped in astonishment at seeing him there. Then, with hoarse cries, they charged. Sirithadar let them get within five paces of him before he gave the signal to fire. Arrows whizzed from among the trees, each one killing an orc. Sirithadar grinned - that left five for him.

"Good for you." came the snapped answer from Rhan "Of you go then, tell me how that works out." Haldir scowled, and left the tent. She waited until she was sure he was gone, and sneaked out again, to the place where her horse was saddled. She checked the arrows, and shouldered her bow, riding fast after the troop.

(I've got no problem with your charries using magic. As for accuracy, it would be alot easier if I could find a map of moria. Otherwise I'm gonna be flying blind. lol)

Melannen smiled "Welcome Eleshna. This gathering of armies is for the recapture of Moria. The orcs from there have long troubled those that dwell on either side of the Misty Mountains. My life was tainted by them long ago..." His voice trails of as his eyes mist over. Snapping back to reality he continued "Your services would be welcome if you wish to offer them. And please don't address me as Lord, my position is that of Captain. Captain Tirram is my title."

Waving off his archers, Sirithadar blocked one orcs scimitar, then kicked the orc, pushing off and away from the rest in a roll. He came up with his sword streaking in to catch the closest orc in the side, under the arm. As he pulled his blade free, he noticed one of the orcs swinging at him, so he swung out his arm, knocking the blade to the side as he turned around, back in a guarding position. His eyes glinted, and his sword shone through the blood on it. Leaping forward, he knocked aside first one orc's blade, then another's going for the orc in the center. A few feints and a thrust, and he was down to three orcs. They crowded close together, staring fearfully at him, and yet [b]daring him, or so it seemed, to come at them again. He smirked, and in a flash that only the elven eyes caught, he pulled one of his daggers from its sheath, hurling it across the space between him and the orcs. He followed it across, his blade already swinging down towards a foe.[/i]

Rhan rode onto the 'battlefield', losing two arrows at orks throughts. She drew her twi blades, at the same time her horse kicked an ork with its hoves. Triumphantly it gave a snort. The elf, tugged it around, and urged it forward, the blades flashed in the dieing light.

(O_O Sorry, I got a little mixed up as to where Rhan was before... lol)

"Ah, I see..." Eleshna nodded then gave a slight smirk, bowing, "Then, Captain Tirram, I do wish to offer my services, and I hope they will be of use. I may only be an addition of one, but I have been taught well enough to hold my own, and I hope I do not hinder your tactics in any way."
