A Harry Potter thread had to be made sooner or later, so here it is.

Who here is a fan of the Harry Potter books? I definitely am. I'm quite excited about the next book; it comes out so soon!

Oh I'm SO excited. I'm going to barricade myself in my room, not answer phones or the door, not let anyone in, and unplug my computer. That way, no-one can spoilt it, like a stupid so-n-so in my form did last year, when she read the last chapter first.

2 days after it comes out, I go on holiday, when I can guantee no-one will have read it, YAY

I'm really excited for HBP! I'm not big on buying the books, since the hardbacks are kinda expensive, but I've managed to get it on hold from my library, and since I placed a hold on it the day after the title was released, I'm #14 of about 300 in line by now

I'm not sure who the prince is...I'm pretty sure J.K. said he wasn't Harry or Voldemort, but I can't think who else it could be. My brain keeps suggesting Neville, just because of the prophecy in OotP, but he's not a half-blood *sigh* I'm guessing the prince is probably some unintroduced character...

Oh, yes, I'm a fan! By OotP I have waited untill the dutch translation came out, but this time I'm going to try to read it in English!

I too am a huge fan of the Harry Potter series! I am trying to persaude my parents to go to Wal Mart with me so that I can purchase HBP when it first comes out.

I wonder who the HBP is too... Neville would have been nice. I cannot think of anyone from the top of my head right now. But, I cannot wait to find out!

I'm a big fan as well! Neville being the half-blood prince would be nice. He's underestimated a lot. I wish Sirius was back though. He was my favorite character..

I think I'm one of them very lucky people who has 4 brothers, 3 of whom are rich. Spoilt old me

I have the first and second book in first edition, which is rare, and I guess they're going to cost a lot of money in years to come. I also have the 4th in first edition, but I guess that won't be worth much..

Yes! I am a huge fan of Harry Potter, I cannot wait till The Half Blood Prince. And Taurquende, Sirius is not dead! I just refuse to believe he won't be coming back. He's not dead. *Keeps telling myself that*

Don't think he's dead either...I mean, he definitely wasn't killed by Bellatrix's spell, since Avada Kedavra is green, not red. But unfortunately I guess it's possible that falling through the veil could mean he died Expecto Siriusum!

Yes I am still pondering... WHO is the HBP?????

I can't wait... I just wish it was coming out a month earlier because I'm going overseas on June 17th, and that way I could have read it on the plane. It's going to come out during school time, and I doubt my teachers are going to be as lenient about letting me read it during class as they were when the last one came out!

I'm buying it! I don't care that hardcovers are expensive. I rarely buy books, so it's sort of a special treat to buy HP. Only 40 more days to wait, I think. (Nope, I'm not counting, I've just seen the countdown on a website somewhere...)
