 Post subject: How to blend in Photoshop 9?

My comp crashed and I'm currently working on my mum's new laptop which has PS 9, my version was older.... first i was lost. I found mostz of the things i needed but i just dun find out how to blend 2 pictures (merge) like i used too :-/ I'd be so thankful if someone could help me and tell me how to do it. :hug:

That's exactly how you blend to make banners.
The only difference is, the size of your blend would be 700x150 or whatever the size of your banner.

What exactly are you trying to do?

i know what's wrong... that's a tutorial for paint shop pro.,.... but i'm using photoshop adobe....

It works for both. You'll be working with layers. Take the two pictures that you want to blend, paste one image over the other, then take your eraser tool and erase the borders of the top layer to make it seamless and "blend" with the bottom layer.

I might seem really stupid but i still dun get it :-/
btw i dun want two pics above each other but next to each other... :-/

hm...well I have CS...and are you sure you don't have like a drop for blur?

You may have either Sharpen or Smudge up....here's something I printscreened.
