I would like to make an argument against the Weloming Team. And for the record, I am aware that it's an argument against myself.
Thesis Statement: "Though The Welcoming Team has many more pages of posts than the all-powerful Nazgul Club, The Nazgul Club is on topic more than an outsider would suspect."
Okay sure, sometimes we go off into other topics. But more often then not we're scheming against the elves and redecorating Mordor. Especially in the earlier pages.
I don't think the Welcoming Team has ever been on topic.

The Welcoming Team is just basically a thread to communicate among welcomers --- who are part of the Welcoming team of course.
They're not exactly a club perse, but they have been on topic.

So *technically* a club could be talking about anything but it doesn't matter because it's a thread to communicate among Narnia fans, or Josh Groban fans. You're going to say that the WT is different because it's not a club, it's a team. Agreed. But still.
