Lithoniel watched as Jaden comforted the man. She smiled. Walking over to him she said in a low voice. "I would speak to Arthion before he leaves. You have done wonderfully for your first time.. you may go and rest now if you like." She gave him a encouraging smile and left to find Arthion.
Meanwhile Arthion had replenished his quiver and was sharpening his sword when the sword slipped and cut into his hand. He gasped and almost cursed but at that moment Lithoniel walked in and he contained himself.
"What happened?" She asked when she saw the blood on his hand.
"I wasn't concentrating and I cut myself."
"Well, let me see to that." She pulled out some healing herbs out the pouch she wore around her waist. Kneeling she took his hand in hers and applied them to his hand. While she did that she looked up at him and asked archly "And what was it that made you loose your concentration? It must have been something terribly distracting."
"What are you insinuating Cousin?"
"Nothing, but I did notice my dear cousin Annerueth volunteered to go on the mission very soon after you did." she giggled.
"And...?" he asked
"Are you that dense?" she swatted his hand in mock frustration.
"OW! No... I just don't think she's interested in me that way..."
"Well, we'll just have to see about that. There, your hand is whole again." she said dropping his hand, then she sighed "I will miss you Arthion, please be careful."
"I will."
"Namarie Cousin."
"Namarie." he picked up her hand and kissed it, and without looking back she left.

Isteleth laughed
"You know what i mean, don't you remember the first time you two met" she grinned yawning and closing her eyes, she was feeling more like herself as the minuets passed.

Jaden thanked Lady Lithoniel before leaving and then went to his tent to take care of a few personal matters before resting a bit.

As he lay down on his blankets spred over the ground Azher came up to him, curling up beside him. The small dragon and him had never been parted since the dy they met when Jaden was only four years old.

Amdir enters the house, having just returned from patroling the mountain passes. He had patrolled as far as Mirkwood, though not intentionally. He had meant to patrol only to the eastern slopes, but had seen a troop of orcs moving toward Mirkwood. With the help of a wizard friend, he had easily sent them scurrying back into their tunnels. He had immediately set out to return to Rivendell, and had nearly been killed by a rockslide. His horse was scared senseless, and even now, a whole day later, was still trembling.

Lithoniel went back to her tent and laid down to rest for the night.

The night drew near as the sun sunk below the imag of death near the horizen. The battlefield lay what seemed from here at the feat of angmar.
The sun's light shimering off a stray blade here and there,almost eluminating the blood red stains that covered the once green grass.

Jaden had enough of the site. He went back to his tent and lay down for the night.

Anneth opened her eyes and arched an eyebrow at her sister. Of course, Isty couldn't see that. She could feel the reaction though. But once again, and even though Anneth was trying to deny it, her sister was right. Sometimes, quite often actually that was really a pain.
Finally giving up, Anneth fell back on her bed laughing "Whatever."

Lithoniel 'woke' from her rest and absently began to think of things she wanted to speak to Arthion about. As if thinking about him made him appear he poked his head inside her tent
"Good, you're awake. Do you want to see me off?"
"Of course." she said with a sad smile, they both went outside and waited for everyone else to get ready to leave.

(Woo. morning!!)

Darrell had spent the night thinking over the finer points of the attack they were about to mount. Having a good plan to start with was less than half the job. He had to be ready for any eventuality. He had woken at dawn and was standing beside his horse at the edge of the camp, awaiting the arrival of the troops would go with him. He watched Lady lithoniel and Arthion approach, "good morning" he greeted them, bowing slightly to both.
