Jack gripped tighter to the steer as he tried to maintain it by himself. He wasn't liking this joke coming from Vari and Devina. "GET TO WORK I SAID!" His face was serious as he yanked back to look at them for a quick second, before he twisted back around to see the huge storm coming closer.

"Yeah!" Devina waved at one of the crew "Get that kettle going!" She caught Jack's expression, and quickly made a run for the sails, not wanting to push him too far just yet. She quickly scurried up into the rigging.

A cold wind blew and as it came there direction. It carried a heavy pour of rain along the way. A flash of lightning lit up the dark clouds now directly above the ship. And not three seconds later was there a loud crash of thunder. The wind became stronger and it tore one of the sails down with ease.
Jack was soaked in the rain, but still managed to keep his wet hands from slipping off the steer. He yelled out a command to the crew, but it was muted by an extremely haunting sound of the thunder.
