Sirithadar looked up from tending to his weapons as she said that. "Aye, thinking about the past is something that I don't like to do, either," he said softly, remembering some dark journey of his. He stood up. "Well, my lady, I must go check on those under my command. I wish you an interesting watch," he said. He stepped away from the firelight, and his elven cloak swirled around behind him, and to those present who were not immortal, he vanished from their sight.

"You have a large force Lady Deawen. If there is anything you, or any of those that follow you need, come and speak to me." He turned to Sirithadar and listen to what he had to say. He looked over to where many more dwarves from the Iron Mountains were joining thier kindred from Erebor. "They will cope fine without me to greet them. Thorin will tell them what they need to know".

Melannen retired to his tent for the night. Their numbers had grown greatly. In the morning he would tell everyone to break camp, and prepare to move up the Celebrant, towards the Dimrill Dale, and the eastern Gate of Moria.
