this is like a fusion of Feudal Japan and modern day things, the buildings and technology is all ancient japanese, but clothing and manners, culture and etc. is modern(but your characters don't need to be Japanese) the village is located on a river that is in a huge forest, and the river is the only way to civilization, even though it seems endless. Hence the Name Timeless River

history: the son of a rich trader, he was often considered snobbish by the poorer people, even though that is completely off mark. he often contemplates his surroundings lying on the deck of his fathers boat.
attitdue:withdrawn into a thick emotional shell, if broken he can prove to be a good friend. he is polite and often stares at the trees and lets the wind blow across his face as he enjoys the moments of his life.

also, try to add some detail to your posts.(i.e. don't just say "i followed him down a path" say something like "I followed him down a winding path through the forest, which seemed to never end") I know you probly won't want to , and that's fine, i just think it adds to the experience

Appearance: She is very slender and very athletic. Her hair goes down to her shoulder blades and her bangs for right above her eyes.
Clothing: She wears jeans skirts and form fitting tanktops, in all different colors. She wears a lot of sandals.
History: No one knows her history. Not even herself. All she knows is that she is a foster child. She has no memory whatsoever of her past.
Attitude: She's an easy-going, sweet, and caring girl. She loves to be loved.

Tomo was lying on the deck of his fathers boat, watching the wispy clouds pass as the soft breeze blew through his hair

Azune walked along the sandy beach and peered out at the ocean, happily. She smiled and took a deep breath of air. It was always so fresh in the morning, and she loved it. She wrapped her arms around herself and sighed. She stood still for a few moments, just to become aware of her surroundings. She tucked a strand of hair behind her ear and just remained where she was.

Appearence: Long dark hair, tall and pale, looks translucent, like a ghost or reflection. Is blind, but sees with more than eyes...
Race: Formally human, but twisted by time.
History: A dy dreamer who slipped between dimensions, now a traveller who wanders, and is destined to forever
Attitude: Is never attatched to anyone and has never experienced or understood love. A very cold, quiet person.

Sira, dimension traveller, materializes with her feet in the winding stream. It feels strangley cold, like its leeching the life out of her bones. She glances over and sees the city tucked away on the hills. Something compells her to go there so she steps out of the river, and the warmth returns. Puzzeled, she heads towards the city, hoping to find the cause of this strange phenomonen.

history: It is said she is the decendent or reincarnation of a legendary Sorcerouss known as the "Moon Light". But that is exactly who she is. She exiled her self for some unkwon reason, People now know her as Mi-mi (pronounced May-may).
