Umm, but A.A.Milne was British.. lived in England... and still he named the teddy bear after.... Winipeg??? I heard it was something along.. they thought the teddy bear was a girl bear and called it Winnie... err.... well...ok... you don't buy it, do you???

Interesting background info Beri, thanks a lot!! I did an assignment on Winnie the Pooh once... but as it was a literary analysis I didn't research on the background!

you should always research the background!! Like, we wouldn't know that so many of Robert Frosts poems could be seen as being abut death if we didn't research to find out about his past and all his kids dying (by 'we' i mean my english class)... My english teacher is a research fanatic...

Ughhh. Stupid...registering for high school...
During band, it was us eighth graders turn to get the "High School Band Talk". And this time, we HAD to listen. 7th and 8th graders are put into one band, so last year, I didn't listen. This year, I had to.

we have band in our school. since I already play the piano, I decided not to join. I'm in chorus, though.... everyone whom I tell this to all say, "WHAT? You're in chorus?"
