Tindomerel sat down by Rhayader, resting silently. She could hardly whistle for Lebethron. The stallion came over at her dry whistle. Tindomerel grabbed her waterskin, taking a drink.
"I have no idea," said Tindomerel, at Rhayader's question about how many they killed, "I lost count outside the walls. Want some?"
She held her waterskin, holding out to Arinae and Rhayader.

"As many as we could," Arinae replied as she shook her head at Tin's offer of water. "I'd say we left them with only a few hundred..." She let out a sigh and rested both her hands on the ledge of the wall facing out, bowing her head. "But they left us with too many casualties... How did you two fare yourselves? No serious wounds I hope?"

"I'm good. Just a few skretchs and bruises," said Tindomerel, smiling, "A little rest and I'll be ready to fight again."
She took another sip from the waterskin and look to Rhayader. "Want some?" she asked the ranger again.

Tindomerel rubbed her side a bit. It still hurt from earlier, when she was captured and nearly stabbed. She looked down at her leg, swearing when she realized it had somehow reopened, the banage missing.

The elf ripped off a bit of her cloak and wrapped it around her wound, not bothering with cleaning it or putting any herbs on, she could do all that a bit later.

Rhayader took it gratefully and gulped down the rest of the water.
"I am well, a few stratches but that's about it."
He looked to the their leader.
"Do you think they will return?"

Arinae nodded, "unfortunately yes, they're after revenge this time, and the second in command is no dumber than the first.... he'll most likely keep us waiting." She put a hand to her forehead breifly, her head still throbbing, but she ignored it for the most part and returned her attention to Tin, noticing the elf's leg. "Here, I won't make a healer take care of it this time, but even elves get infections from reopened wounds, Lady Tin..." After retreiving her satchel from her horse, she knelt down, cleaned, herbified (Yayness, new word ^^), and rewrapped the elf's wound, ignoring any protests Tin had to offer.

"I've learned it's easier not the argue," said Tindomerel, slouched back against the wall, frowning.
A small smile twitched at her face. "Thanks," she murmered to Arinae.
Tindomerel wrapped her cloak around her tightly, pulling the hood back over her head. "At least I won't have to see the fire-weapons," she mumbled, shivering at the thought.

Arinae nodded slightly in response to the elf's thanks while she stood, but flinched, supporting herself against the ledge of the wall. She fought back the dizzy feeling again and regained her composure. At the mention of the fire weapons she looked thoughtful. "We could have a few men go and sabatoge the camp ever so often, and it would be a safe distance from the city that the fire weapons wouldn't bring harm upon our men.... But I honestly do not know how they work..."

Arinae gazed over in the direction of the enemy and shrugged slightly. She had truly forgotten when she had last truly taken the time to sleep. She never stopped to think about it and she certainly wasn't planning to do so now. "There will be plenty of time to rest when this is all over..." she mumbled quietly.

Tindomerel looked at Arinae as she stumbled a little. The elf looked at Arinae, nerviously. "He's right," said Tindomerel, "You should rest. At least sit down. You need to be well rested."
Tindomerel shivered at the thought of them again. She stayed silent, understanding how they worked, but not wanting to talk about it.

Arinae nodded breifly, feeling somewhat relieved. "Then I shall leave you in charge for now... have a few scouts keep a close eye on the enemy's activities." She sat down there right there and leaned her head back. "Goodness I didn't know saying 'yes' to such an offer would turn into all this...." she mumbled with a slight laugh, her eyes closed. She needed no more encouragement to get rest as she drifted swiftly to a deep sleep, a small line of blood still stubbornly streaming from the slice to her forehead.

Rhayader watched her go and sighed.
"Well time to give out orders eh?"
He smiled to Tindomerel and walked back onto the look out tower. He called down to a rider on his horse.
"Find Jax and tell him to head the scout groups, if he is not too tired."
The rider nodded and rode away.

Tindomerel gave Rhayader a half smile. She leaned her head back, resting silently. She closed her eyes, breathing in and out slowly. She'd just rest here. It wasn't like she was going to fall asleep...

But the elf was very tired. before she knew it, she was asleep.

Suddenly there came shouting on the walls of the East side of Edoras and Thren ran towards Rhayader. "Where is Lady Arinae? The east walls have been breeched by a sudden attack from a horde of orcs we hadn't seen!"

Rhayader looked over and heard screams as the soldiers were overun.
"Send everyone to the eastern wall I'll get Airnae"
He watched the men race. Rhayader ran to Tindomerel and nudged her.
"Wake up!"
He drew his sword and ran to find Airnae and nudged her.
"Airnae wake! We're under attack!"
He ran past her to get to the wall.
"Come on!"
