Cora glanced from her pondering to the young lady now half dragging the frail boy along. She stood to her feet and brushed passed the delicate flowers, her dress brushing against the specimens and causing a few palid petals to drift to the stoney surface of the pathway. Aproaching the threesome, she questioned them softly. "What is the trouble? Is there something you fear young lady? What is it that cause you to half drag this frail youth from such a beautiful oasis?"

"Young maiden, please, I have no intention of harming you. What is there to fear in Imladris? It is a peaceful place...." Cora's eyes sparkled in question, their hue matching that of the sunlight soaked beach leaves in the boughs of a few carefully arranged trees within the garden.
The elf maiden's expression was calm and strangely sweet with a faint glow, more so than was common for even the fair elves of those splendid dwellings, though her slight brows were raised in puzzlement.

(may I? I promise my charrie will be good:D)http://arwen-undomiel.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3383&start=0
A young woman, in her early twenties sat underneath the balcony on a stone bench. Her long blonde hair tinged with brown blew softly in the breeze blowing in the way of the calm blue greey eyes that studied the maps before her.
Hearing the voices above, she stopped for a moment. What could the Elves possibly be quarrling about? She had visited Imladris a few times, often in fact for it reminded her of Ithilien. Sighing, she turned back to her maps, still listening intently.

Arvalin couldn't help but notice the young woman, limping, he thought from the way she shuffled, as he passed. It seemed as though she crossed to be the furthest away from him as possible, although for which he could not blame her, if she had ever heard of him. He would stay away, too.
But it was not in his nature to dwell on this thought long before the hallway ended in two seperate ways. The long way around, through the garden, would take him out of his way. And so he decided to pass up the stairs onto the balcony, where he could attempt to assure himself of the authenticity of the scroll that he held. Doing so, he reclined rigidly on a bench, holding the rough parchment to the light as he gazed at it.
Once again, he was interrupted by voices. Grumbling under his breath, he considered shouting at the Elves for disturbing him. But, as a guest in Imladris, albeit a very regular one, he had no right, despite his tenacious obstinance. So instead, he carefully set the scroll on the bench, and stood to walk to the balcony. He gazed over the edge, seeing that frail boy again, as well as the librarian who had disrupted his study before and the girl in the hallway. And, from beneath him where he could not see, another female voice spoke, soft and assuring, although he could not hear the words from the distance.

"Then let me help you," Cora offered kindly as she stepped forward lightly and with a gentle touch, took the other arm of the frail youth. She carefully assisted Deawen in returning the boy indoors, though regretting pulling him from the beauty of the day and garden. "Perhaps we could take him to a more cheery room, but give him shade beside a window?" She looked to the youth's face, her smile soft. "Would you be able to handle that?"

Eilwynn's pallid features seemed to wrinkle in sudden confusion. The footsteps.
Brilliant.
Her dazed visage quickly changed to a livid agitation, sighing inwardly as she watched the young Elf being forced away. She thought..as she caught his gaze for a moment, that there were tears in his eyes. Eilwynn blinked, her hand now gripping the railing of the balcony for balance as she felt her agitation seeth some. The others would draw away and return in the night..But Eilwynn would be caught and reprimanded. She didn't mind however, it was the amount of comfort that seemed to annoy her.
Eilwynn mouthed a 'goodbye' to the boy as he weakly withdrew back into the shadowed hall, and sat back down. Waiting for the maker of the footsteps to show himself, she figured she'd might as well make herself as comfortable as possible. However...
In the corner of her eye she caught by a fraction the scene of a man reclining against an empty bench. It was the same man who had passed her by earlier. A brow arched increduously, at the same time a slight grin tugged at the corner of her lip. Huh. She mused the coincidence, shifting her amber optics back infront of her, though not looking at anything in paticular.

It was with as violent a shake of his head that the boy could muster with which he protested.
"Oh, let me be caught, let them find me if I might just stay here a moment longer."
His mahogany eyes closed, long lashes blinking away tears, breaking them to sweep down over his cheekbones, curving in a clear arc, staining his dove-down white skin with a streak of sorrow.
"I do not want to be in shade, in shelter..inside. I wish to be here, whether I am found or not. I do not care if my father finds out of my disobeying him...as long as I might linger within this place..just one moment more."
He didn't so much struggle, he couldn't do so, but his long fingers closed weakly, as he was pulled by urging hands back along the path he had worked so hard to walk along....
It was weakness into which his voice fell eventually, dying down, "...please?"

(^^ Watercolors. Prettiness!)
Cora's heart was moved by the youth's gentle plea and she ceased to lead him away from the beauty of the day, then a soft smile crept over her fair features as a thought came to her. "I can take you to a place in the garden where rarely is another to come upon... and your friend as well, perhaps she would like to come?" She questioned gently, looking towards Eilwynn, a mysterious yet gleeful shimmer in her green eyes.

-It's lovely, Shadowstorm. Wish I could do that. -
Arvalin shook his head, watching the Elves attempt to make up their fretted mindsThis, he knew as one of their few weaknesses, being their indecisive nature. He was unable to hear what was being said, although clearly the boy did not wish to be back inside. With a shrug, he turned away from the railing of the balcony and back to his bench, where he picked up the scroll. Before he faded into the shadowing doorway, he gave a last glance at the garden, silently noting the peaceful movement of the sunlight. And then he vanished into the archway, and onto another stairway that would lead him where he chose.

Aarisynta considered, as the grip upon his jacket loosened, and the urges dies down. Serenely, albeit wordlessly, he nodded.
As long as he could stay somewhere beautiful, stay outside..
Ah, how he longed to remain here, at a place discovered in it's little moment of beauty, by himself.
The sunlight was dying down now, drifting behind a cloud to refract beams of cool dusky gold across the stone.
"..if I must leave...then, pray take me there instead of back within the confines of a timeless, dusty library." he whispered to Cora, before pleading eyes fell to Eilwynn, the one on his side...
