"Eep!" said Tindomerel, falling as Rhayader nudged her.
She stood up as she heard that the east walls had been breech. She swore, whistling for Lebethron. She hoped on the stallion, wanting to get there as fast as she could.

She reached the east walls, her heart beating faster. She drew her sword and hacked down an orc.

Jax raced to the horse he had been provided and galoped quickly to the east walls.

Seeing the orcs and men attacking he jumped off his horse and rushed into the battle.

Arinae rubbed a hand over her face as she barely heard what Rhayader had said, but hearing the words 'wall breech' from the men running was enough for her. She scrambled to her feet and insheathed her sword. Not seeing Stardance close by, she ran towards the east wall, calling to resting men to wake as she ran past. Swords and spears greeted the orcs as they rushed in, the Rohirrim fighting their hardest, woman and children crying out in fear from the nearby dwellings and running towards the opposite wall. Suddenly Arinae stopped and whipped around as a thought came to her. "Take half the men to the west walls! This is just a distraction! Quickly!" As she spoke, a scout rode forwards and told them of the main force attempting to sneak around to the west walls. Dawn had just barely begun to approach, and the scene was chaotic. Arinae located her horse and rode to the west wall from the outside, leading half the men with her. They arrived just in time to intercept the enemy trying to clamber up the walls.

Jax stayed to fight at the east wall while the others went to protect the west side.

Hacking another orc down he moved forwards to enguage another.

Tindomerel heard Arinae's call. She wheeled around Lebethron turning him toward the west walls. She kicked the stallion hard, digging her heels into the stallion's sides. "Ha!" said Tindomerel, Lebethron bolting toward the west walls.

Tindomerel held her sword in her left hand, ready to fight. Her ebony hair poked at her amber eyes. She brushed it from her face with her spare hand.
She stopped when she saw a little girl and her parents, surrounded by orcs. Tindomerel stopped Lebethron, wheeling the stallion toward the family, swearing loudly.

Tindomerel slashed her sword at the few orcs. The mother was screaming, holding onto her daughter, tightly. She killed the orcs around them. "Stay with me!" said Tindomerel, slowly trotting Lebethorn away.
The family followed the horse, the elf wacking down the orcs that tried to attack them. Soon, they had moved far away from the orcs.
"Thank you," said the mother, hugging her daughter closely.
Tindomerel nodded and kicked at Lebethron, heading toward the west walls again.

Jax ducked froma blow and came up enderneath the man's sword, then moved over to the side to block another attak.

His arm throbed with pain...but he continued to fight.

"Arrows!" Arinae shouted, spotting a sea of arrows head their way from the farther lines of the enemy. The men ducked and used their shields to deflect the projectiles. Soon they had the enemy driven back from the wall, and after slaying at least over a hundred, they had most of the enemy fleeing. Arinae wondered how the east side was faring, and guessed there weren't many since it had been a distraction. While she pondered this, she failed to notice a final stream of arrows being fired upon them by the retreating orcs. One cought her in the back of her right shoulder as she was about to strike down an orc. She bit back a cry of pain, lurching forward against her horse. Painfully forcing the words, she ordered her men to return to the East wall to fend off the remaining enemy there. Arinae rode after them, though a bit slower as her vision swam with the pain from the trotting motion of her horse.

Jax pushed a man off the wall and ran to block an attack from an orc that nearly took off a man's head.

Jax pushed the orc's sword forcivly back and kicked him off the edge of the wall.

Jax droped to his knees in pain as his arm started bleading again. Seeing another orc comming at him hi launched his sword like a spear into it's stomach.

The orc fell by him and he grabbed his sword and continued to fight as best he could.

Rhayader stayed on the eastern wall making sure the diversion orcs were dealt with. He fought as best he could. All the orcs on the eastern side were inside Edoars and the final push had killed many men. Arrows whized past his head and felled a rank of orcs. the next rank smashed into the broken line of men and knocked Rhayader to the floor. An orc spear came crashing down aiming for his head. Rhayader just rolled out of the way and stabbed the orc in the leg, quickly rose to his feet and sliced the orc's head off.
He noticed the men were failing and becoming tired, Rhayader roared a battle cry and urged the men onward, it seemed to work as they doubled their efforts. They ushed the orcs back to the the breach until the few men held the gap in the wall.

Jax picked up numerous swords from the ground from fallen enemies and friends.

He threw the swords through the air, stricking down orcs and men.

his arm was to damaged and hurt to fight much more but he could use his good arm to throw quite well still.

Tindomerel sat tall on Lebethron, hacking down her enemies. An arrow barely missed her head and whizzed by her ear. She leaned out of the way, falling off Lebethron. Tindomerel stood up and hacked down as many orcs as she could. She limped toward Rhayader, her stallion having disappeared from the battle.

"Hello, again," said Tindomerel, grinning as her sword flashed about, slashing at her enemies, "How many times do you think we have to teach them a lesson?"

"Like you said they never learn."
His face was grim and covered in the blood of his enemies. The men were just holding the orcs at the breach.
"I think they'll give up here soon."

Jax blocked an attack, his sword being pushed back with the force and nearly knocking him donw.

He kicked the orc away from him and then hit his sword sending it out to his side. A final stab brought him down quickly.

Looking down at his arm he tried to wrap it with some cloth before eaing back into battle.

The riders who had been with Arinae now arrived at the east wall and aided in driving the orcs back, forcing them out the wall breach once more. Arinae herself stayed with the men, though she could barely keep herself in the saddle let alone fight, and all she could do was encourage and direct the men, the arrow still imbedded deeply in the back of her right shoulder, making her sword arm useless. The Rohirrim, though weary, finally forced the enemy back fully and continued giving chase as the orcs ran.

An orc charged Arinae from the side and she forced her arm to lift her sword once more, though she could feel the head of the arrow tear flesh. After felling the orc, she dropped her sword and held her shoulder with her left hand, letting Stardance follow the other riders on his own as the Rohirrim returned into the city.

Jax threw another sword, hitting the last orc within his throwing range. It fell solidly tot he ground, the sword imbeded in it's back.

Jax walked over to the wall and leaned up against it in wearyness.

Looking around it seemed that the enemy had been defeated..."But at what cost?" Jax asked himself

Rhayader sighed and stood in the breach watching the men return. He turned to see Airnae, she had an arrow in her back. He ran over to her and looked closely at it. The Ranger hissed and grimaced at the sight of it. It was truely imbeded in her.
"Arinae? How does it feel?"
