Arinae barely managed to keep to her feet as she used her left arm to lower herself from her saddle. "Terrible," she muttered through gritted teeth, her eyes closed tightly against the pain as she leaned forward against her horse.

Jax looked over to see Arinae by her horse. Not noticing the arrow in her back he walked up to her. "Have they all retreated?" he asked.

Arinae nodded slightly to Jax's question, but dizziness from pain and loss of blood swept over her and her legs gave way beneath her. She tried to catch onto her horse again to support herself, but it only caused more pain as the arrow tore at more flesh from the movement.

Jax reached out and caught her before she fell to the ground. Then noticing the arrow in her back he yelled for a medic. "Get over her quick!"

They came and took Arinae into a sterile (as steril as they can get) place and immediately began working on getting the arrow out and patching up her wound.

Arinae tried to pull away from them, but to no avail. "I can't be away, I have to go back," she muttered through gritted teeth, but her efforts to get them to release her were fruitless. She cried out in pain as they tried to remove the arrow. Again she pleaded to be let go and at the same time fought against passing out, but when her plea was again ignored, she turned her head to look towards Rhayader and Jax. "Take command," she gasped out before closing her eyes tightly and biting her lower lip hard till it bled to keep from crying out again in pain.

Rhayader looked to Jax and then back to Airnae. He didn't like seeing her in pain.
"Jax you are more of a leader then I am. You should take command. I'll stay here with Airnae."

Arinae shook her head feircly, half to fight the pain, half to Rhayader. "No, just go, something needs to be done about the orcs before they choose their own time to attack again..." she spoke a little more clearly, relieved somewhat after the arrow was removed, but her vision swam so she kept her eyes closed. Her surroundings seemed to become distant, but she forced herself to remain concious, her hand gripped onto the edge of a nearby chair.

Rhayader frowned at her stubborness but complied and walked out. He climbed up onto the wall and looked out over the plains.

Rhayader turned to Jax, not noticing Jax follow him.
"Jax, she gave you command, I'm sure your more then capable of doing the job then I am."
He looked back out onto the plains before Edoras and noticed something in the dying horizan. Smoke. He took a step forward and pointed at it.
"Our friends are close. There's only a couple of hundred left. What say we rough them up a bit more?"

"Alright... But I would like it if you would take half the men and lead them in from the flank." Jax requested as he moved off to get his horse.

Rhayader shook his head and raised his hand.
"Jax no. Take about five of the best archers and use flamming arrows. Destoy their camp, demoralise them."
He grinned.

"Let's get things moving." he said jumping on his horse.

Rhayader nodded and jumped down from the wall. He grabbed his bow and a quiver of arrows then assembled those he had seen make fairly good shots from the wall. They all mounted horses and rode out of the gate.
"We just need to burn their camp nothing more, ride away as soon as they come near us."

"They will probably chase us back.. if we have the rest of the archers hiden behind the hills we could catch the survivors off guard." Jax sugested as they readied the men.


He would not be able to shoot himself, his arm bandaged and injured.

Rhayader nodded. They approached the bottom of a hill, on the other side the orc encampment. He dismounted.
"Ok light up a fire. Do it quick."
