Rhayader walked into the healers house with Tindomerel and the wolf. He sat them both down at a bed and had a healer look at his arm.
"Seems fine, we can take this off now."
Rhayader smiled and let the sling be taken off. He streched his arm and smiled.
"Like new."
The healer turned her attention to the elf.

Tindomerel frowned at Rhayader, sitting down on the bed, arms crossed. When the healer turned to her, the elf spoke.
"I'm fine," said Tindomerel, "I've taken care my wounds well."
The healer blinked at Tindomerel, turning to Rhayader.

Arinae paused by the now open gates, looking out across the deepening skies, clouds beginning to gather, their heights seeming endless, a distant rumble sounding a threat. The pain in her shoulder throbbed dully. She concidered having it cared for again before they left, but decided against it, not wanting to spend anymore time within those walls than she needed to. Wincing, she rubbed the front of her shoulder as a thought occured to her. "How the heck am I to fight..." she muttered under her breath. "I'll be able to lead and that's all that matters.... and weild a spear..." she continued to herself.

Rhayader chuckeled and waved the healer away.
"Well it looks like we are both able to fight."

"You sure your going to be alright?" Jax asked from behind Arinae.
"You could at least have someone close by to help if you get in a tight spot."

Arinae jumped slightly in surprise, quickly pulling her hand away from her shoulder. "Yes, I'm fine, I'll be alright," she insisted. "There will be plenty of Riders around if anything happens, don't worry," Arinae again assured with a slight smile, turning to climb into her saddle. She paused, turning to face Jax with a somewhat questioning expression. "Jax... as a leader, I am supposed to recognize and handle any situation... is there something troubling you? If you are having problems dealing with this, I will understand if you need to take time out for a while. I wouldn't want whatever may be troubling you put your safety at risk, as well as that of the men you fight with..."

Tindomerel smiled. "Good."
She then looked down at herself. Her hunter green elven travel outfit was still covered in blood and dirt. "I'll catch up with you," said Tindomerel, realizing that she wasn't dressed for battle.
Tindomerel walked out the door, looking for where she had last left her packs. She found them and quickly pulled out a white cotten shirt and a pair of black beeches. She changed into them, wearing her leather boots with it. She found her leather jerkin and slipped it on over her shirt.
Armed with her sword, knife and her bow, she quickly ran to the stables to find Lebethron.
In her quiver was only a few arrows, some of them ones she had to fix herself.

Jax looked over at her from his horse. "It's nothingthat anyone can do anything about really. But I asure you I will not put the other men at risk." Jax replied with confadence.

"But would you put yourself at risk?" Arinae questioned while settling into her saddle. She took up a spear in her left hand, knowing she could well steer her horse with cues from her heels and knees.

The banner of Rohan and the banner of Arinae's ancestors' were raised upon one staff, held by Thren. She nodded once to Jax. "Then, my friend, I hope you will not take any unecisary risks." She urged her horse forward and slowly the lines of men moved out through the gate.

Jax moved off to the other side. "Once this is over I can deal with it." he told himself. "But for now it is the only way I can help these people."

Tindomerel had found Lebethron, mounting up on her stallion. "You rested up, buddy?" she said, patting Lebethron's black coat.
The stallion whinnied loudly, trotting in place a bit. Tindomerel laughed, the sound somewhat like a ringing of thousands of tiny silver bells. "I thought so," said the elf, grinning ear to ear.
Slightly digging her heels into Lebethron's side, Tindomerel urged the stallion forward. Lebethron trotted out of the stall, Nimloth following after the tall, proud horse. The elf maiden pulled her mottle cloak around her, closely, as the stallion trotted out of the stables.
Tindomerel reached the gates just as Arinae started out. The elf sat up tall in the saddle, standing on the strips, looking for where Rhayader was. A promise was a promise. She had to stay with him.

Rhayader mounted his new horse. It was a young horse but well mannered. He patted him on the neck and smiled.
"Onward."
He kicked the horse to walk toward Tindomerel.
"Ready?"

Arinae shivered as a chill wind blew across the fields of endless grass, carrying with them the ominous clouds, their color steel grey, threatening to bear down upon the travellers below. Finally the rain let loose, soaking almost instantly as the downpour hit then continued.
Arinae held her left hand for a moment to her shoulder, still holding to the spear she weilded, as the chilled rain stung at the wound feircly. The horses' heads were lowered slightly against the rain, as did the riders. "Keep this up much longer and it'll drain the strength and spirit of the men," Arinae muttered bitterly to herself.
