Some people really love it, some people think it's lame.
The ones that think it's lame are more likely the ones that stand at the side looking po faced with there arms crossed.
It's just a bit of harmless fun, and that's what DragonForce shows are all about.

That's exactly how they act, and why you won't find me there much if at all.
They really do themselves and the band no favours. Even after Herman posted that message about treating everyone with respect no matter how long they had been a member or how long they may have been into the band.
Yet they all ignore it anyways.
Completely childish behaviour that puts metal fans in general in a bad light.
Thankfully we're not all like that.

You know...I actually know of at least 3 people that don't like DragonForce?
Which is fine and all, cause everyone has different tastes and what not. But a lot of there reasoning is flawed and there logic has more holes than a collander.

LoL yeah I have a friend who doesn't like DragonForce or any kind of melodic Power Metal or melodic Symphonic Metal (which are like my two absolute favorite sub-genres!) because he feels there is just too much melody, haha. And I'm like: the more melody the merrier you know. Oh well, to each of their own. I'm trying to get my brother into them. He digs Valley of the D*mned at least. DragonForce will conquer in my family, oh yes! lol

I have no issues with people that don't like it, or any band that I like.
But it's when people start using absurd and ridiculous reasons like
"they use effects pedals" and "they encourage fans to bring plastic weapons to gigs..that is so NOT metal" I have to stand up and call em out.

If you don't like the band, cool. Whatever. But don't make up crappy excuses for why you don't.
