James raised his eyebrows as Lilly told him that last sentence. Glancing at Sirius he raised his eyebrows once again "So, you don't want me to answer on that?" he said while his lips were forming same old grin.

Lily looked at Sirius, then at James,"I can't he's looking the other way!'

"And you really thing that's a problem?" James almost laughed "I have my ways so don't worry." glancing back at Dani, he really started wondering should he say or even do something.

Lily was confused, she hadn't understood a word.

James noticed the confusion on Lilly's face and said "Just look at him and you will know the answer. That is the easiest way. If you don't believe me, as Fiona. She would know all about that." with that he leaned back on his chair and took another sip of his pumpkin juice preparing for concequences.

Dani yawned a huge yawn, her hand covering her mouth. "I'm going to bed soon..." she said as it subsided. She took a sip of pumpkin juice. <i>I hate romance...</i> she thought to herself, <i>It just makes things so darn complicated...</i>

This time James remained silent. Further explanation would just made Sirius turn back to them and realize what were they just talking about. And he really didn't want that to happen. Sirius had to do that by himself. No one could ask Dani out for him and he knew that. James just glanced up at the ceiling and then back at Dani, fully aware that she's still not talking to him. He collected his things and picked up his books as he begun raising from the table "I'd say - go for it."

Dani yawned again, and inside she was resigned to the idea that she wasn't liked "in-that-way," which, now that she thought about it, didn't bother her. "See ya guys later..." she said through her yawn, getting up and heading out of the Hall.

"I'm comming too" Lily said and walked with Dani up to Gryffindor Tower, she gave James a quick kiss on the cheek before they left.

Dani smiled softly as Lily kissed James, then sighed and walked with her hands in her pockets. "Toldya," she said once they were in the corridor of the Fat Lady.

"james was acting weird about Sirius," Lily muttered as approached the portrait.
"Lairy Fights," she said, sleepily and the portrait swung open, revealing the common room.

Dani laughed at Lily's speech mistake, then shrugged and walked up to her dormitory.

Liliy followed Dani up to the dormitary adn got changed before slipping into bed.

Dani collapsed onto the bed after changing and dropped off to sleep almost immediately.

Still hypnotized, James touched the spot on his cheek, right where Lilly kissed him and just fell back in his chair. This complitely distracted him and for second time today, he couldn't believe that really happened. In one single day he solved most of the problems he had. Which meant Lilly and...
Suddenly he jumped back up. He quickly tapped Remus on the shoulder and mouthed "Good luck Moony." then his head snapped back to Sirius "Padfoot, come on, move! Did you already forgot what we have to do?" he said with slight annoyance in his voice but as he looked at his best mate he couldn't help but grin.
