"Are you alright?" she asked softly, now brushing a strand of hair away from his face.

His eyes flickered open and softened at the gentle touch. “I have been better…” his voice came out, a strained whisper.

"Try and get some rest." she suggested softly, letting her hand drop away. "It'll be alright... You know it will be."

He smiled slightly. “Rest… Ha… I can’t remember the last time I rested…” a shadow passed across his face “Will it be alright?… I don’t know any more…”

He smiled softly “well, I suppose I shall have to trust you, then…”
((kk, meh, I might vanish for 30, too, hope not…))

As he collapsed backward, the healer got to her feet, her hands grasping his to keep him in conciousness, although only at Rhavaniel's touch did Dorian come back to the world...
Aiana bowed her head gently, before stroking fingers over his cold palm,
"I feared for you, Dorian..." she told him gently, before pushing his hair back.
"Pray, do not frighten me so."
With that, she embraced him, if only lightly..
--
Sapphire blue eyes cast themselves into the room, assessing chaos with a cynical smile.
It was only as those same eyes set themselves upon the slight frame across Dorian that his smile vanished in the blink of an eye.
...it couldn't be...

He was taken aback by the small embrace, uncertainly, he smiled “ I am sorry…” he looked around the room, and, with a jolt of fear that made him dizzy, he saw Kael.
“I… I just…” his voice broke weakly.

She raised her head before smiling at him once more, beautifully. "..I'm sorry." she told him softly, before leaning back to sit up again.
It was at that moment that Kael walked in, his head on one side as he buttoned up his long coat to hide himself.
"...A-Aiana?" stuttered the boy, suddenly seeming younger at he looked down to her, an utter contrast all of a sudden...

He stared at the two, his cheek burning.
“You truly do know each other?” he was amazed at the change in Kael, curiosity burned in his eyes.

Kael nodded, silently as he walked over. None of the malice was there anymore, as he bowed completely from the waist, his head down so that his long hair fell forward.
"My lady.." he greeted her shyly before smiling only a little.
The girl looked up at him with a warm smile before she shook her head,
"Ahhh...do not refer to me as such, Kaelakuna...it is only Aiana."

He watched, eyes wide in wondering, uncertain of what to say.
Here was Kael, the man he was terrified of, acting like a schoolboy.
A small smile flitted across his lips.
“So you are still human… Somewhere…”

Little did Dorian know that a little boy was all that Kael really was in his shy state. To Aiana, that was all he was...a boy who she saw in the village, in the chapel.., and ah..how it was strange to see him outside of that, in normality for him..
"Ah, it is nice to see you, Kaelakuna." she told him with a polite smile, tipping her head to one side.
The vampiric one smiled shyly, with a hint of a blush, "....r-really?" he asked, seeming to ignore Dorian's existance for the moment...

Rhavaniel smiled at Dorians words "Do you know," she whispered quietly in his ear "I think those two might have fallen for each other. Or at least, Kaels acting like he has..:"

Aiana took back her bandages from Dorian's side, packing them back up within her healing equipment before she stood from his bed with a bright smile to Dorian and a bow, "I shall take my leave, Mr. Mith, if you will promise me to rest yourself.."
At the announce of her leaving, Kael started a little, stopping himself from an outburst before he looked up, "...well...goodbye?" he spoke, trying desperately to catch her bright eyes.
Ah, how he longed for his beauty to be appreciated by one as stunningly beautiful as herself...one of the only ones he longed for admiration from....

Dorian smiled slightly, his head still spinning he rested it upon the soft pillow, his eyes still fixed on Kael, watching his movements without meaning to… Without understanding why.
His fingers gently played with the bedsheets, twisting the linen between his hands, his cheeks pale and cool again.
"Yes... Its fine.. Aiana..."
