Rhayader slapped the horse to move and it complied.
"Go!"

Tindomerel tried to rein in Lebethron, but the horse spit the bit from his mouth. She swore at both Rhayader and Lebethron. She gripped onto the stallion as tight as she could as he galloped toward the camp.

(*glares viciously* Am I going to have to ban you two from this rp for a day?!..... I have places to go and important things to accomplish ya know, being a responsible adult has its duties :annoyed2: .... *catches up*)

Arinae urged her horse in stride alongside Tin's and with her good arm, grabbed the reins at the bit and yanked the bit into place (I don't think horses spit it out unless the pole strap broke... they grab it in their teeth, usually pushing it back farther with their tongue to get a hold of it )

After pulling the horse to a halt, Arinae leapt down from her own saddle and helped Tin down from hers, noticing the blood on the elf's side. Worriedly she sat the elf down, not saying a word, and removed the satchel from her horse, pulling from it what she had in manners of herbs and bandages. Her expression of worry was quickly hidden by that of annoyance, as she tried to be more firm in her behavior.

(( Sorries...again. And about the bit...it's been a long time since I learned about all that stuff. :runs off to find a book on horses:))

Tindomerel had been in a half state of unconsciousness. When she was helped down from her saddle, she opened her eyes. "Arinae?" she asked, her voice a touch hoarse.
She blinked as Arinae sat her down and started getting herbs. "Arinae?" repeated Tindomerel, looking at Arinae, confused.
"I can go back to the camp," said the elf, "You need to spend every moment helping the men. You have to lead the attack..."

"Lady Tin! There will be no attack, we are not attacking, do you not remember? We are sitting and making them nervous for a while until they waste thier battle thirsting orcs on us..." Arinae informed the elf as she quickly cleaned away the blood and bandaged the wound securely after applying herbs and a clear elven potion from a crystal phial to numb the pain. "And we are already at the camp, your horse was about to trample a few tents...."

Tindomerel shook her head, the pain slightly numbing in her side. "Oh," was all the elf said.
Tindomerel couldn't remember much. Her head hurt with the fever that was coming back slowly. It hurt to think hard, so she didn't bother to think much harder than she had too. The last thing she remembered was her struggle with the orc and Rhayader...
"Where's Rhayader?" she asked.

"Do not worry yourself over him, I'm sure he has handled himself quite well..." Arinae insisted, helping Tin to her feet and supporting the elf, even though every bit of weight pained her shoulder, as they made their way to where Tin could rest. The rain had finally subsided, but it had left everything wet, sleepery, and miserable. Several times Arinae slipped under the elf's weight, forcing her to catch herself with her right arm.

She let Tin down to the ground beside a fire, the blaze kept high by a rider, and a somewhat dry blanket was offered and given to the elf. Arinae rubbed her shoulder and winced as she put her arm back in the sling, then forced her attention to focus on Tin. "How are you feeling...? You seem like you have a fever... Perhaps the healers can put together something for you."

Jax continued to fight, staying away from hand to hand battles to spare his arm for the time being.

He moved from place to place picking up fallens swords, spears, dagers, and other weapons. He hurrled the weapons through the air into the orcs as the other men fought.

After two or three more days his arm would be just fine, if he didn't strain it to much in between.

lol

Jax went back to his camp site and rested a while. He layed his sword across his lap after wiping the blood. Looking down he noticed a spot he had missed.

The sight brought back a vision of war, blood and death flashing through his mind.

Jax closed his eyes and shook his head a bit and wipped the blood off. But for the first time he realized that he had not been relying so much on his anger.

He had hope... it seemed that what Arinae had told him would work out. He had hope now that he could find hope.

Rhayader watched the men return to the camp with Airnae and Tindomerel. He was exhausted from the battle, the seige of Edoras really took it out of him. Rhayader had only been used to small scale skirmishes, now he was fighting over ten enemies at once. He sat sat down and sighed. His legs were tired and felt broken. A man approached him.
"My lord? Are you not joining us?"
Rhayader nodded.
"Yes... I just need time to rest."
The man nodded and walked slowly back to the camp.

(You mind if in my next post I do something a bit drastic? To do with the orcs)

Arinae stood suddenly, looking over as the men returned without Rhayader. "Where is Rhayader?" "He needed a moment to rest," a rider responded. "And you left...." she stopped mid-sentance, glancing towards the barely coherent elf and stepped away, keeping her voice low, "And you left him alone in the line of the enemy?..." She wasn't very pleased with this, and her expression showed it. The rider murmured his apologies and was excused.

"Well, I sure hope so. And if he doesn't, I might have to go and get him," said Tindomerel, with a weak smile, "I'm not feeling good but not horrible."
She watched silently as the rider spoke with Arinae. She heard Arinae ask where Rhayader was. The rider said something about him needing a moment to rest...
"Where's Rhayader?" repeated the elf, trying to stand up, still not able to do so.
Nimloth had found Tindomerel and was laying at her side. She could tell from Arinae's face that something was wrong. "Nimloth," said the elf, "Since I can't go, you need to go find Rhayader."
The she-wolf got up, running off to look for the mortal, starting in the camp.
