My thoughts exactly! :D

It also occured to me that she seems...unemotional, if that's even a word. I mean, she never seems sad or happy -- if anything, annoyed (with Eragon)!

If I could bring myself to do it, I would skip the parts that involve Eragon and Arya being together. However, I can't bring myself to do it, so...I read them and get upset anyways.

What do you think the weapon under the Roots of the Menoa tree will be? I'm thinking it could very well be the sword of the First Rider, Eragon. That would be a very interesting twist.

It's from the first book. From Solembum's prophecy thing to Eragon.

That would be cool if it was the sword of the first dragon rider.

Ok, I was just looking at something I had posted a few weeks ago. It was actually pretty stupid of me to say that. :P
First, Arya is now telling Eragon that they cannot be.
And second, I was just re-reading Angela's conversation with Eragon about his future, and she said that she couldn't tell how it would end...

Hehe, that's what I get for not finishing the book yet -- making stupid comments. :P

Yeah, I know. :confused2: Arya has been annoying me, which makes it hard to decide if Eragon doesn't deserve Arya, or if Arya doesn't deserve Eragon...

Hmm, I was just thinking who the last egg is going to hatch for. I think it could be either Arya or Roran. Arya because then Aryas dragon could fall in love with saphira and it would be a nice happy ending, and Roran because it seems heriditary as it hatched for Morzan, Murtagh and Eragon. I also found out that the final dragon will be green, but that gives us no clues. So, does anyone else have any ideas?

I think I've heard way too much for my own good.

So, my friends, *salutes* Until I finish the book...

*Bows and twirls out of thread*

^ Heheh, I know what you mean - I was browsing this thread before I had even picked up a copy of Eragon, and by the time I got to Eldest, I knew a lot of the plot elements.

I hope Roran gets the last egg...after what he's done during the second book, he deserves it, I think. But who knows? Could be anyone, and that's part of what makes Mr. Chris Paolini such a darn good writer. ;)

I just finished it...

AAAHHHHHHH!!! NOOOOOOO!! *collapses and begins to bawl*
Murtagh!! Why did it have to be Murtagh?! I liked him so much!!! He was my absolute favorite!! I knew it was true as soon as I saw Thorn. Aarrrgh!

*Cries uncontrolably*

...

*Somewhat recovers*

Eragon seemed so...powerless at the end. Murtagh just brushed him aside like a fly.

And I'm glad Roran knows everything. :) That part was cool.
Anyway...I think sleep will be the best way to recover for me.

*Walks away with red-rimmed eyes*

*comforts Gwen*

I feel really, really sorry for Murtagh. Think how horrible it would be for him... he could have been Eragon, but he isn't. He'd be reminded of what he could have had in life when he confronts Eragon... power would be a small consolation, but it's something he feels that he has...

^Thank you, granny.

Was Eragon right when he said there might be a way to break Murtagh's oath to Galbatorix in the ancient language?
