Elizabeth turned and ran back through the hall way. She slammed her door shut and screeched her maid popped out from the corner. "Miss Swann they've come to kidnapp you!" said the maid. "What?"
"Your the govenor's daughter."
Realization spread over her face but a pounding at the door made her jump. "They haven't seen you yet. The first chance you get run to the fort." She ran to her bed and grabbed the foot warmer before running round the corner.

Kara gasped, knowing that the man saw her. She quickly ducked and hoped that she hadn't been seen by the other pirate.

Pintel raced up the stairs with Ragetti close behind. He found the door the girl had disappeared through locked and began pounding on it mercilessly. He finally rammed through in just enough time to see the trail of the girl's dress as she fled into the other room. He chased after her, only to be hit in the face with a bedwarmer.
Ragetti was better prepared for the assault and managed to catch the handle of the bedwarmer, pulling the lass closer to him. He hadn't been thinking about the contents of the bedwarmer, though, and caught a nasty surprise as hot coals rained down on his head. "It's hot!" he cried. "She burned me!"

Koehler turned to look where Twigg was pointing but saw nothing. "Ain't nothin' there," he said, turning to leave again.
"T'was there!" Twigg insisted. "I saw it!"
"Yer daft," Koehler muttered. Grabbing the other man by the sleeve, he made for the exit again. "C'mon. There'll be 'ell to pay with Barbossa if we're not back soon."

Kara let out a sigh of relief, as the pirates left the cell. She slowly poked her head back up and looked to Jack. "Told ya!" She smiled and watched him.

Elizabeth raced out of the room, down the hall, and down the stairs. She could hear the two behind her and jumped in suprise as the taller one landed in front of her. But they both became distracted by the falling chandlier. Siezing the advantage she ran into the parlor and jammed the door with a candlestick. Her head snapped to the door as she grabbed for a sword in the Royal crest above the fireplace. But they were glued in tight and she squealed as the whole thing came down. "Come on," she said trying the dislodge it. The door was about to fall apart. Elizabeth quickly hide in a cupboard.

Kara smiled and nodded. "You got that right. That curse is really strange..." She shook her head and sighed. "Now, Will Turner will come in here and get you out soon. Is there a place that you want to meet?"

"C'mon!" Pintel shouted, chasing after the girl without waiting to see if Ragetti was following. In an attempt to trap her, Pintel raced down the stairs, while Ragetti simply jumped over the railing and landed in front of the lass. They almost had her when a canonball whizzed through the room, causing the chandelier the fall down. Pintel cursed mentally as the girl managed to run under it right before it hit the ground. Quickly recovering, the pirates hurried over to the closed doors she had disappeared through. They wouldn't open. He started ramming into them, determined not to let her escape, if not solely for the purpose of saving his reputation. Finally the doors opened, but the room was empty. Ragetti pointed to an open window and made for it, but Pintel stopped him with a hand on his shoulder. In the silence he could sense something that had gone previously unnoticed...the gold. "We know you're 'ere, poppet..." he called out, slowly looking around the room for clues. "Come out, an' we promise were won't 'urt you..." Ragetti shot him a confused look, but Pintel silenced it with a deadly glare before the younger pirate could protest. "We will find you, poppet. You've got somethin' of ours, an' it calls to us..." There. An upturned corner of the carpet and a slight crack in the wall marked an otherwise concealed closet. "The gold calls to us." He could practically hear her heart beating as he drew closer to the narrow crack, blocking all light from entering. Bingo. "'Ello, poppet." Throwing open the doors, he cocked his pistol and pointed it at her.

She jumped back, her hands slight flared out. "PARLEY!" Eluzabeth said quickly and in a somewhat frantic tone.

Kara didn't know if she should be happy or insulted, at first. She then slapped his hand away and slowly back off. "Bargain me?" She said, in a sad tone and she had a hurt look in her eyes. "Jack... I'm not a prize." She told him, and looked down to the ground.
