Darrell moved off in the direction of the gate, using the shadows where he could, his natural insticts telling him to remain hidden, although he was disguised.

As he approached the gatehouse, he was accosted by an Orc on watch "Stop skulking in the shadows and come out where I can see you". Darrell stepped out of the shadows. "I wasn't skulking, just walking, your eyes are obviously bad if you couldn't see me. And seeing as your eyes are so bad I've been sent to relieve you". The Orc looked sceptical "Relief? I'm not supposed to be relieved till dawn." Darrell scoffed "make use of it. I won't hang around if you don't want the night off" The Orc shrugged and moved off in the direction of the main fortress mess room.
Darrell watched him leave and then turned to inspect the front gate of the fortress.

Jaden waited in hiding, wondering what was taking so long.. but then remembered there new plan. He reluctently sat back for a long wait.

Luinnar moves in the opposite direction of Darrell, taking on a shuffling, almost limping step. As she walks past an orc, she bumps into him, muttering an Orkish curse and apology as she went on her way.... But carrying something new....

Darrell inspected the gate carefully. It seemed to be made of good, solid wood, but it had several large cracks in it, running from top to bottom. Under some sustained, persistant pressure it would break. A sudden cackle of harsh laughter from the gatehouse caused him whirl around sharply. Leaving the gate he went to see what the situation was in the gatehouse.

((*wanders in with a guilty look on her face, looks at the others with puppy dog eye*
