Well, back on topic, the davinchi code does indeed portray the things going on in the Vatican(corrupt ol' medieval popes..) from what I've heard, though the Jesus story was provocative to many, the Bible never specifically said "And Jesus was never to bear child because blah blah blah..."

You're right Agent Jones, and I remember the huge controversy about the Church wanted the publishing to be stopped, etc, etc etc,

I can't recall it much, but it was probably ridiculous, the catholic church is the least flexible denomination though, and from what i've observed sensitive to its past evils being brought up.

then there's a bunch of other theorys that are abnormal to the central christian faith that I have, but that would create a theological debate, which is undesirable.

in many cases it leads to conflict and wars such as the crusades, which where horrible to say the least

then again, if one doesn't go after their major enemys with a sword in international politics, they'll come after them. and it is hypocritical to a point, but true, without war humanity in its present state couldn't stand itself.

or because they wanted something someone else had, so I guess war either boils down to jealousy or blind hatred as the ultimate motivator somewhere in it.
