Instead of visions, I sometimes get ideas of scenes and start acting them out as the main character...which can be a problem if you're in public. ;) I've had my embarassing moments.

Now I really like fantasy, and I'm jumping between two series I'm writing. One of my main goals in life is to get published. It's also one of the reasons I want to be a movie drector...same stories, different media. It's cool to have a bunch of fellow story tellers to talk to here! *waves* :bye2:

Sometimes, actually quite often, I guess, I act out scenes too. It helps me get the dialogue and action. I just do it when I'm in my room, though. lol I hope to get published sometime too.

Lol I do that all the time, even after the scene's done. Last friday hermioneismytwin and I were spending the night at BlueEyedGirl4God's house, and something one of them said reminded me of something in one of my fanfictions, so I just started acting out the scene with accents and all. Fortunately they've both read all my fanfics, so it didn't seem as random, but...yeah. It was fun cuz Jack's in that scene, and he's drunk. It was very interesting to say the least.

I love t when i get those visions! It gives me soooo many idease! And yeah, as someone else said, i act out my scenes and stuff to. i think it's fun. I think it's also a good way to get the feeling of the moment so you can put it down on paper better.

I mostly write fantasies, but i'm also trying my hand at a thriller, which is going pretty well if you ask me, lol.

I never actually knew other people liked to write as much as I do. I write Realistic-Fiction mostly. But i've been attempting a fantasy right now.

And keep at that thriller Aduial. Sounds good!

Thanks Iarilde,

It's about a girl who has scizophrenic multi-personality disorder. Her personalities see two differnt murders by the same killer, and the killer thinks Lucy seen to much, when in reality, she hasn't actually seen anything. lol.

What's one of the stories of yours Itarilde?

I love to write, and I plan to be an author one day. My friend and I are writing an action/fantasy series, and I've written some LOTR fanfics, POTC fanfics, and my own mystery series. :-D

Am I the only one who sees...visions, almost? Or just, all of a sudden get a detailed idea that's totally random. I'll be walking in the woods at my local state park, and almost "see" something happening that seems so vivid.

That exactly what happens to me. I can see evereything in my head, but getting it onto paper is often a challenge. I write out of order too, which is weird, but I'm writing a trilogy(haha, i wish) and i have 1 chapter of the first book done, and the climax of the third book completed. Its a fantasy.

^The climaxes always come easier than the plot, don't they? :P

I can think of awesome climaxes...but then it's a question of how to get there.

exactly. the beginning and end are always really easy, then everything else takes a lot of thinking sometimes.

Yours sounds really cool. One of mine?? It's actually a series. I'm on the 2nd book right now. It's sort of a teen drama. In the first book, 4 of these friends started a radio talk show where teens could call in and get advice and that stuff. But it also deals with these same 4 kids and all the drama that happens to them cause they're teenagers. Friendship problems, relationship delema's, and getting into the kinds of trouble that teens get into. That's all. What's the title of your story?

That's kinda how I'm writing now too. I've got a couple of the 1st paragraphs done, and a dramatic part that would be in the middle done. And then I've got little bits and ideas all over the place. lol

i usually just jot them down in a little note pad so i don't forget them and work really really hard until i get there. Something i hate though, is writers block! It's soooo frustrating!

yes! sometimes I can write, and sometimes I can't...and of course, it's never convienent when I can. :-D

I've noticed that nothing in particular is easy, only important scenes I've been thinking of. Lacing them together is almost busiwork sometimes...

I know what you mean, like when I have an essay for school I tend to completely forget about how to write and draw a blank, but when writing a story the words just naturally flow...
