Eleshna calmed down, resting her head on his shoulder half from weariness yet half for comfort, finding in him her only comfort, her only true peace.

"I love you Jaden, more than I ever thought I could anyone.... thank you for being here for me.... for being my peace through hardship and my strength when I falter..." She kept her voice quiet, a hand gently entangled in his hair at the back of his head, bringing her eyes to search his in a diligent manner.

"I love you too." Jaden said in almost a whisper. His arms still around her as he reached up and ran his fingers through her long hair.

"I'll always be there for you until the day I die.... I'll be everything I can for you." he added as he leaned forwards and kissed her softly.

Eleshna felt as though she would almost crumble with unworthiness at his words, given with such deep meaning, such devotion.

Her eyes closed as she returned the kiss softly, with tender care, bringing her hand to rest gently against the side of his face. A soft smile graced her features, relaxed and somehow forgetting, if only for the time being, the fear she had felt just moments before.

"Alright." Jaden agreed witha smile. "I guess I'm being a little paranoid..." the sugested mostly to himself.

Through all the comotion Jaden had forgot about a few things.

"So... you think we could find a minister here?" he asked softly, once again remembering about the subject.

"Alright.. I'll g look around." Jaden said with a smile, getting up to his feet.

Since the healers were close by he decided it would be easyest to ask them. Before long he had the address to the local ministers house.

Jaden rentered the room. "I found one." He smiled. "Do you want to wait until morning and get some sleep tonight?" he asked her.

Eleshna watched the sun sink low while Jaden left to ask, and when he returned, she smiled. "I think perhaps we could wait for morning, though I doubt I can rest very easily tonight..." she replied quietly, letting her gaze drift again towards the setting sun.

Eleshna laid down upon her side, in her usual position, the only difference being the lack of her sword. She released a quiet sigh before closing her eyes, her mind meandering to thoughts about the coming day as she drifted to sleep.

That night Jaden slep fairly well, but still stired off and on. Being in a town still made him a little uneasy.

Eleshna slept soundly, weariness stronger than her worries and fears. She didn't awake until the sun streamed through the unshuttered window, casting a golden glow across her face.

Letting out a yawn, she stood, rubbing her eyes and walked towards the window, looking out silently towards the morning. The birds sang within the trees and the mist had just cleared from the vast fields.

Opening silently the door, Eleshna stepped outside, a slight breeze catching her hair and tossing it into her face, the slight chill of it causing her to shiver. She smiled towards the sunshine, gladdened by the morning light.

Jax woke up, the little amounts of noise Eleshna created being sufficient to wake him from his light sleep.

He opened the door and stepped out behind her. "You sleep alright?" he asked as he put an arm around her shoulders.
