"So I am right to assume you are an elf?" Lillian said still kneeling before the elf. She was not surprised for she had met other elves before but seeing one in such a situation was strange.

companions: dapple gray stallion named Storm
weapons: long sword, bow and arrows, hunting knife
history: She was born in Rohan, but she always had a restless spirit and longed to see the world. She left her home when she was 16 after her father was murdered by orcs and has never been back.

Laurelwyn took one last long drink from the stream and mounted Storm. She made a clicking noise and they were off at an easy trot. Soon she saw smoke rising in the distance. Without delay she urged Storm to a full gallop. Within minutes they reached the village. Laurelwyn was crushed by what she saw. Dead families lay outside burning homes. ALthough, she had not known these people it made her sick to think that someone could hate someone else so much. She road further, searching for any sign of life. Soon she saw movement in the distance. A woman, a young girl, and an elf were gathered around some rubble. She dismounted and walked to them. "Hello I am Laurelwyn," she said, "I was riding and I saw the smoke. What happened? Can I do anything to help?"

The elf flinched away at the sound oof the horses hooves, her hearing still delicate from the roar of the flames. She could see them when she closed her eyes, smell the smoke in her nostrills... She clutched at the girls arm, eyes scrunched up tight.

Lillian held onto the elf noticing how tense she felt. Lillian placed a soothing hand on the elf's back before turning to the woman on the horse.

"I do not know the cause of this destruction. Like you I found the place completely destroyed. We looked..." she pointed to Silver and herself before continuing. "...for signs of life and found none, until her." With that she tilted her head to the trembling elf on her arm.

Silver seemed to be stairing out into space but actaully she was exaimning the land for any sign. She walked off from the group up to a small tree. A rough looking dagger layed on the ground in a persons heart- it had a wierd inscription on it. A wierd feeling jumped over her from her feet up to her hair. She disgusteditly pulled the dagger out and cleaned it on the ground walking back holding the dagger out she handed it to the elf. "Maybe, You know what this means"

Lillian looked curiously at the dagger and then turned to face the elf. Anything that could help them figure out who had destroyed this town would be of beneficial help.

Laurelwyn nodded sadly when the woman said that they did not know what had happened here. She eyed the elf and walked toward her cautiously, trying not to startle her. She gently laid a hand on the elf's back. Then she noticed the girl looking over the land. She followed her with her eyes as she walked away from the group. She cam back holding a strange dagger. Laurelwyn's eyes widened as she waited to find out what it was.

The elf opend and closed her eyes briefly, trying to asses the sitiuation. Suddenly she started up, eyes flickering all around. She felt the rush of blood to her head and steadied her self, breathing harshly.

"Hand me that piece of cloth..." Lillian pointed to a small gray piece of cloth on her saddle. The woman handed her the cloth and she poured some of the cool water the elf had been drinking onto the fabric. Then with the help of the woman they sat the elf down and Lillian placed the wet cloth agaisnt her forehead trying to calm her down.

"Breath..."

Silver took the dagger back, and sat down against a tree seeing that the elven fair lady needed her space. She gleamed her piercing grey eyes over the smooth yet bumpy ingraving of language inscripted on it. Sil rubbed her finger on it to get some modly dirt off of the deadly weapon. More inscriptions were hidden on the dirts surface

Seeing that the woman was getting the elf back under control, Laurelwyn walked over to the tree where the girl was sitting and examining the dagger. She leaned over her shoulder. "What do you think it means?" she asked.

Lillian sat next to the elf keeping a soothing hand on her back while she rubbed the cool washcloth on her forehead and through her hair.

"May I ask for your name. I am Lillian or Lily"

Silver looked up at the Rohan lady, and sighed. "I dont know" then paused looking at the elf then Lilly. Then back at the dagger. "Maybe you do..." She calmly handed her the dagger facing the sharpness towards silvers own body like the way you normally should hand knives over.

The elf smiled "You may. My name is Rhavaniel- or Rhan if you like. Thank you... You are doing a grand job." Her eyes ran over the knife and she frowned slightly. "I'm sure I've seen that before...No," she extended a hand and took it, weighing it in her palm "I saw its twin. The words inscribed on the hilt are of evil nature, and I will not utter them here..." she took a deep breath and raised her head to the woman "You found it here? That is indeed bad news.. Very bad..."
