(I'll add some more now)

As night closed in around Rhayader he approached the beacon. It was huge, at least two men tall. He dismounted with the letter in his hand.
"Hello?"
To his left was a small hut, obviously a guard house. He walked over to it and knocked on the door. No answer.
"Hello?"
He opened the door slowly to find the house bare. Totaly empty. He drew his sword, feeling slightly paranoid.
"Anyone? Lord Eomer sent me..."
The table had half eaten food on plates, the chairs were knocked over and the glasses were smashed, but no one around.
"What happened here..."
He walked outside and took a torch hanging from the side of the hut. He threw some oil into the pile of straw and wood then threw the torch into it. It cought fire with such ease and was more like an explosion then creating a fire. The heat made Rhayader sweat instantly as he looked around for any sign of the other beacons. The fire was bright enough surely they would see it, espeicaly against this dark backdrop.
It seemed as if time had slowed down, the fate of many people rested upon whether the others had seen his signal. Just then he saw an orange light in the distance begin to form, it grew and grew until the fire was clear as his. He smiled to himself.
"...hope remains..."
However the fire did not just attract the attention of the other beacons...

Arinae gasped in relief, looking on as the beacons lit, one by one, in the distances. The men saw this sight as well and a cheer went up among the many ranks. The orcs began to howl angrily and a few rushed forward in a fit of rage, the men leaders unable to hold the battle thirsting creatures. Riders leapt into action and set to work cutting down the loose orcs.

Aemornion and the King walked and disscussed many things conserning the recent events and stars had begun to show on the dark sky.
"Interesting story my captain, it goes to prove it will still take some time for the old wounds to seal fully. We shall have to be more careful on our boarders without any doubt." said Elessar "Once again, thank you deeply for sharing time and giving me the briefing what happened."
"Im always at your service and command milord" replied Aemornion "and it was an honour to share the words and opinions with you as it is always. And now I would bid you my leave for the night is at hand and I desire some rest"
"And my leave you shall recieve Rananimothar, i bid you a fair night and peaceful dreams" Said Elessar and inclined his head.
"Thank you milord, Namarie!" he saluted and turned on his heel. He placed a few steps and did catch with his eye a slight shimmer on the western horizon golden coloured.

He entered the main court and suddenly he percieved a sight he never saw in his life but only did hear of it. On the northwest horizon a bright fire was burning. The beacon of Amon Din was alit. His eyes widened and and he rushed back towards the King. He found him looking towards the bright blaze alike. "Rohan calls for aid milord! These indeed are dire times. What are your orders?!" Aemornion asked.

"We have always been allies in good and in ill times, Gondor shall answer to their call. We own them alot" Elessar looked at Aemornion finnaly. "Assemble a host as much as you can until the coming of the day. You will lead it alone. But remember to leave me some men behind, there might be more to this whole event then we might think and i do not wish to have the White City nor the boarders of our land unprotected. Times are strange, we cannot be ever too careful." he sighed then "Seems you are robbed from your well deserved rest once again"

Aemornion gave a slight but solemn smile "I shall rest only when i will know that peace and solitude will endure for a long time. But that is not the time we count. The host shall be ready to ride out at sunrise."

With that he left in a quick paced stride. Soon the trumpets called out to arms in the city and once a peaceful and sleeping night bacame more busy then in mid day.

((Sorry. Got grounded from the computer. Grr... okay, let's see...))

Tindomerel had resting herself, she walked outside. She looked up at the sight of the beacons. A small smile flickered at her face. She hugged herself tightly. She prayed silently Rhayader would remain safe and that the news would get to Elessar quickly, her eyes closed. She brushed a strand of her hair from her face, but it fell back. She blew at it.

The elf watched the far-off battle, wishing she herself was in the middle of it all. She longed to just pick up her sword and run out, whisling for Lebethron and jumping on his back. But she turned back to go back into the tent. She knew she had to rest. And for once in her very long life, she listened to what Arwen would tell her to do.

Nimloth groaned in her sleep, kicking slightly. Tindomerel sat down, feeling a bit dizzy and warm. She lay back down nuzzling closely to Nimloth. She started violently shaking, getting the chills. She forehead boiled again. She knew they were after afacts of the sword that had struck her in the side. She wished she would get better...

((EDITTED NOTE: Whouldn't Elessar be worried about Arwen? Last written, she was in Rohan...))

[ The city of Minas Tirith is never left unprotected and the royal family almost never leaves it. They either reside there or in Arnor and the city of Anumminas since it was rebuilt after the war of the ring. Honestly i would never put such a vital character into a middle of a battlefield. But since she is there, Elessar did send the best of the best to handle the situation in Rohan. I would like to advise you Lady Tin that you pull her out of there since such high grace and royalty honestly has nothing to seek there. Lead her out towards Eriador or back to the White City if we want to keep this RP as real as possible]

[Put her where you wish, it dosent bother me much at all. If you say she is in Edoras, then let her be there, i got nothing against it *smiles* These all are just words of advice, you dont have to listen to them if you dont want to, do as you wish, your choice]

He smiled proudly as the fire burnt on through the night. He had attracted the attention of the others and Gondor would come to their aid. He began walking back to Stardance when something caught his eye. A glint of metal in a nearby hedge. He frowned and turned to face it. As he walked closer to the glint it became clear, it was a sword. He picked it up and felt something heavy on the end, a hand! Just a hand, blood driping from the wrist. He grimaced at the sight of it then let the sword drop.
Rhayader pushed the hedge back and found two bodies, bloody and cut up.
"What the...?"
Behind him he heard footsteps. He spun around with his sword drawn ready to fight.
"Who goes there?!"
From behind the hut came four men, wild men who had allied with the orcs.
"You did this!?"
The men walked further to him, each holding a crude spear and one held an axe.
"You tried to stop the fire!"
The men stayed quiet but spread around him, slight grins came upon their faces. Rhayader had let himself become surounded. He looked around desperately, the horse was fine for now. The ranger looked at the man directly in front of him and snarled.
"You think Gondor will help you now? It is too late. Your friends will die and so will you."
Rhayader shook his head.
"You're all the same. You're like a bunch of Orcs!"
He held his sword in both hands and kept looking around at the men.
"Kill him!"
Two men pounced from behind him. Rhayader ducked and spun around slicing a leg off one man. He stabbed the other quickly. The third man charged and sliced his back. He hissed in pain, grabbed his spear, pulled him forward and chopped the man's head off. The body fell to the ground with a thud. The fourth man had ran away.
"Curses"
The first attacker was still alive but bleeding heavily. Rhayader walked over and held his sword to the crippled man's throat.
"Where has your leader gone?"
The man said nothing, Rhayader pushed the blade closser.
"Tell me or I will make you suffer like you have never before."
"He ... He went to tell our men."
"How many?"
"Around a hundred or so..."
Rhayader looked confused.
"Reinforcements for the Helms Deep, they are still assembling..."
The man laughed.
"You have no chance!"
He coughed and spluttered out blood. He let out a sigh and lay dead.
Rhayader sighed and ran to the horse. He lept on and began back to Helms Deep.

Arinae awaited the return of Rhayader, anxious to be sure all returned safely. The men had come back from the distraction battle, for the most part unharmed, counting only one loss, for such was their skill. All eyes for a brief time were focused on the burning beacons, like gleams of hope, distant but strong, crying out "injustice has been done! Justice must and shall be served!" In fact, these were the very words the men cried out in their own tongue, Arinae joining the cry.

Suddenly came a different cry from a farther camp, the voice that of a scout. "Another reinforcement, a hundred or so!" Arinae murmured a curse under her strained breath, pacing over to witness for herself the joining of more forces.

A red dawn did rise above the fields of Pelennor, the sun was forcing his way out through the thick mists on the east. The city was in an uproar while the final preperations had been made for battle.

Aemornion hardly slept the entire night but he managed to catch a slight nap while sitting down and waiting for the final battalions to arrive from Osgiliath. Dagonet came to the barracks and saw him sharpening the sword on the bench. "Everything is ready for the arrival of the king and you, he is just striding down upon Brego from the upper levels and awaits you to join him" With that Dagonet left in haste towards the Main gate where the host was getting prepared to leave. Aemornion stood up, sheathed the sword with reverence in its scabbard, put the helmet on and mounted his horse that waited for him and with that he galloped out towards the streets. Just in time he joined the King and his guards as they trotted towards the Gate.
"I presume everything is ready captain?" asked Elessar
Aemornion saluted at first in welcome then nodded "Yes, the host is prepared. Ten battalions are ready and additional two are to join us from Cair Andros. From the city ride one spearhead division, three archery divisions led by Dagonet and six Infantry battalions commanded by me. Othar will join us in Anorien with with his host" referred Aemornion "I have also sent word towards Dol Amroth that they should strengthen the patrol on our South and help the Ithilien host if there should come any threats from the Harad again"
Elessar nodded and seemed pleased "Good. I pray it will be enough for our assistance towards our allies. Thats the most we can spare for the time..." he said.

"Gondor is strong milord, but we cannot risk to empty the lands fully of our men. As you said, these are strange times and we must be careful" Replied Aemornion.
Elessar stopped just before the main gate and faced Aemornion "Be careful on the field my captain, you may come upon unexpected visitors and guests that perhaps dont rightfully belong there. I trust your judgement like it would be mine alike" he said in a low but firm voice so only he could hear him.
Aemornion nodded in reply with a slight puzzle in his eyes what did the king mean by those words "I will see to it without any hasitation. You have my word upon it whatever it may be milord" he said with a determend voice.

With that they trotted out on the Pelennor Fields. The host was horse mounted and slowly the sun started to show its shimmer upon the armor, swords and spears of the tall and strong men who had been prepared for battle as they faced the two men.

Elessar strode infront of them and eyed like it seemed each and everyone of them with a proud shimmer in his eyes. "Men of Gondor!" he called out with a strong voice that echoed wide "...my brothers! Long time ago our fathers took an oath that did bind the kin of men of Rohan and of Gondor together. The oath never to abandon eachother in the times of good and times of ill deeds. Today ill fortune shadows our friends in need like it did us not so many years ago. We must answer that call!" The men watched him trott left and right infront of the large host with pride for they saw someone who would not falter in dire need. "Today, we must go and honour that allegience for the glory of men and for the victory of good once again!" With that a powerful cry from all the men shook the ground. "Ride now!" Elessar cried out "Ride now! For the light from the White Tower shall strike the shadow of the enemy once more!"
"For Gondor!" The men cried out
With that cry trumpets blasted off in the city and soon the thunder of many horses' hoofs shook the ground as the host departed swift. Elessar stood ground and watched them leave towards the west and war.

(okay, that was long...*chuckles*)

((I'll just leave her at Edoras. The longer the better. I like long posts, but sometimes my brain dies so I can't think and I don't get long posts. :-D ))

Tindomerel's chills had calmed down slightly. She heard the scout and she sat up slightly. She lay back down, making sure she still had her sword right there with her. She was so tired... Maybe a bit of sleep would be good...
Her eyes flickered closed. If Arinae needed her, the girl would come looking... Right now, sleep sounded heavenly...

Rhayader rode tirelessly back to Helms Deep. Stardance was tired and could hardly keep up a trot. As they approached the orc lines he saw there was little chance of him breaking through to get back to the encampment in front of Helms Deep. The orcs had them encircled.
He stopped a far distance away on a hill to get a better view of the situation. His back twinged with pain as he dismounted.
"Hmm..."
He saw the encampment was encircled by the orcs in Helms Deep and by thenew host. What were they waiting for? They could easily crush The Rohim. Dawn had been and gone, it was almost midday and he needed to get through. But how?
He sat down and rested while looked at the seemingly impenatrable battle line.
