Corus looked at him with a warning gaze.

"Surely you have seen battle, but haven`t battled to survive everyday for long hours with only pain as your company and the ugly faces of your torturers and you called me a torturer back there or you said that I was. A killer yes, but a torturer no and since my services have been done here I think that my company is no longer needed for my views aren`t appriciated here just because you haven`t seen what I have...."

Corus continued to walk away quietly.

Aemornion continued to stride down the hill towards the horses while muttering to himself and holding of the urge to kill the man swiftly for his insolence towards him and Arinae alike. Many thoughts crossed his mind and the fact he is letting go one of the most wanted criminals in the white city free made it even worse.

He walked up to his horse with a heavy sigh and examined him. He secured the saddle in place and idly stroke his mane while trying to relenquish the thought and find out is he making the right judgement and decision. He leaned against the beast while supporting himself with his arm. His mind found no peace.

Rhayader looked at the elf through the wall slightly confused.
"Wake up? I'm awake now... what's going on?"
Tindomerel simply stayed still and spoke bluntly again.
"Rhayader wake up..."
He frowned and glanced around but when he looked back she was gone. Rhayader looked around hopelessly. He wept for his love.
"Tindomerel! Come back!"
He sat on the grass and wept in his hands, tears streaming from his eyes. He looked up and found the ground he sat on was blackened from fires. Bodies of his kinsmen, orcs, wild men and Rohrim scattered the floor. He stood up and looked around at the death and destruction and out of the fire came Tindomerel. She stopped before him.
"Wake up Rhayader."
"What are you talking about?! Where am I?!"
She tuned and began walking away. Rhayader tried to follow but he was moving in slow motion. Even when running she easily got away from him.
"Come back! I need you!"
He stopped and breathed heavily.
"What is happening to me!"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Rhayader shifted more in his bed. His dreams plagued him and made him sweat.
Tindomerel shook him harder. "Wake up!" she commanded, her voice going from soft to paniced, "Rhayader, you're dreaming! Wake up!"
Others looked at her, confused, wondering why she wanted to wake him.
Nimloth woke, looking up at Rhayader, howling at the fact that Tindomerel was distressed.
Tindomerel couldn't think of what else to do. He wasn't waking...
She then kissed him, hard, on the lips, hoping he'd wake up.
Arinae stayed out of the further heated debate, her anger rising with each word Corus spoke. "I judge those who tortured you as evil for what they did to your mind," she muttered under her breath, turning her back and walking away from the discussion to prevent from doing something foolish.
She strode off in a furious manner, the words still tormenting her mind. Remembering the ruin of the village, the death of so many, even Elonyn, gave her no doubt that calling these dark forces evil was the proper title to give.
She sat down dispondently, the anger draining from her eyes, as she stared towards the fortress, her kin's fortress, and it was then that she noticed black smoke rising from within the walls.
Her brows furrowed, Arinae stared towards it for a while, not sure what to make of this new developement. "What are you brewing now, scum of the earth...." she murmured bitterly under her breath.
Suddenly the bodies, blood and blackened earth disapeared. The field filled with white flowers and again the elf came back to him. This time she seemed real. She took his hand and looked into his eyes.
"Rhayader ..."
He looked at her, confused and afraid. She began to speak elvish to him and he couldn't understand a word but the words seemed to indicate love and afection. There were two words spoken in the comon tounge that were said throughout: "Wake up." He let go of her hand and she now seemed confused. She spoke in elvish again, seemingly questioning him.
"Your not the one I love... This isn't real at all!"
She sighed and slowly began turning into the evil man he faced at the beacon. The man frowned and grined evily.
"You!"
The man took a step forward and Rhayader felt a surge or pain sweep through his body. He screamed out as the pain grew with every step forward.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Rhayader tossed and turned in his bed, crying out occasionaly in pain. His body was fighting to live.

Tindomerel pulled away after that didn't work. She was panicing, she wanted to call for help, her mouth was open, yet no words came out. Nimloth was barking loudly, the healer's kicking the she-wolf out of the tent.
She could think of what to do. She stroked his hair, speaking to him softly in elvish, trying to calm him. If she could wake him, she had to calm him. Everytime he called out in pain, Tindomerel squeezed his hand.
She didn't know what to do. She was afraid.

Aemornion raised his gaze to the horse and gave him a gentle stroke across the nuzzle while whispering some word or two. Then he turned the glance sideways towards the Hornburg and Helm's deep. Smoke did rise in pillars from the stone walls. Trechery was brewing inside the strong walls.

Not far off he beheld Arinae seated on the damped soil of the ground, alone and twisted deep in thought. Aemornion released the horse and slowly walked up towards her knowing that the battle is not over yet.

Sensing more than seeing the approaching presence of Aemornion, Arinae stood, pulling herself ubruptly from her inward thoughts, brushing aside the strands of hair which blew to cover her vision and the still-fresh scar upon her forehead.

"If that is not labeled evil..." Arinae gave a gesture with her left hand towards the rising smoke, "Then may the hand of the Valar themselves strike me down for my beliefs" She murmured, half to herself and half to the Gondorian captain.

"Tell me..." she began a question, turning her steady, respectful gaze towards his noble presence. "What would be your guess as to their doings within the walls taken from my kin?"

Aemornion cast a respectful gaze towards Arinae while inclining his head. He beheld her strength and love for her kin once again. Slowly he looked up towards the rising smoke and narrowed his eyes slightly.

"There is devilry about behind those walls indeed, what are they doing to that fair and strong place i dare not imagine for it burdens my heart. But the burden is thick upon me so we must count upon everything." he said with a low voice and remained silent for a moment

"Furnaces, stoves, machines.... all devised for making cruel and deadly weapons and hidious armour. But their resources are very short and not much can be burned, for Helm's Deep is carved out of pure rock which may give us an advantige." he looked upon her once again "We must be quick and precise in our task of cleaning the mighty place from the filthy rats."

Arinae nodded slowly to Aemornion's words, her admiration for this leader holding stronger as she saw the wisdom, knowledge, and experiance beyond the spoken words, noting the determination expressed upon his features.

She turned her eyes towards the walls, her brows furrowed slight, both forehead and scar wrinkled in thought and concentration. "And I think, perhaps, there is such an area where the walls can be breached. A small overlook on the enemy's part since they themselves seemed to have put it there when they first took the fortress, and their effort to conceal it was a poor attempt... but one must be close in order to see it."

Folding her arms, Arinae still strained to take in the sight of the walls and surroundings, attempting to catch glimpses of activity within and around. She gave it up, however, and glanced inwards towards camp before sitting upon the ground, too weary to stand on her feet for too long. "Forgive me but I cannot keep to my feet endlessly," she murmured apologetically.

Aemornion smiled and nodded in understanding
"I understand your wearyness milady, and after all that you went through Im certainly amazed to see you standing so strong, so proud and yet so fair. I never saw such grace and strength combined together fairest of ladies. If i may speak my mind i would say you have a touch of elven blood in your veins" he cast a slight smile and crouched down by her side not feeling worthy that his head is higher then her's

"The first time I saw you I thought that Eorl the Young has come forth once again, but then I beheld it was not so." he said in a low and warm voice "but with my eyes i watch upon you as you were his daughter"

He cast then his gaze back to the Deep and let out a sigh "as the night draws in I would love to see a better view of the situation and how we may penetrate the fortress. If I may have your approval that is." he shifted his glance back to her slowly and slightly apologeticly

"Please, I deserve no such compliments..." Arinae murmured, lowering her gaze with a strained expression of an unworthy feeling upon her face when she heard the words spoken.

Then, with a firmness of voice and stature, she lifted her gaze to speak in response. "It is you who should be complimented, milord, for in you I see a leader worth admiration, worth words of such praise as to express what was seen of your strength and valour, as a leader I know I could never near or be equal to in my lifetime" With this, she stood and bowed low, but not wishing to stand over him, sat herself down once again upon the ground.

"You have my approval indeed, Milord, and I shall accompany you as well, so as to show to you what a few of us had seen at a different time," She spoke in response to his request for a better view.

Aemornion was suddenly taken aback by her actions and her praise and politeness. Never has he recieved such respect from someone outside of his own land. It took a good deal of time to form up some words worth speaking of

"Milady, we both know our tasks and that is to lead our people to their rightfully deserved victory. You deserve the same amount of praise as you have given to me just now. A leader I may be, but not of such magnitude as you must consider of yourself. The men of Gondor are true to their word for the Men and even Women of Gondor were true to theirs in our time of need" Aemornion spoke in a low but solemn voice then cast his eyes towards the Deep again.

"And I am also glad that you will acompany me. As soon as the night strikes but before the watchfires are kindled we should move in the shadows swiftly. Until then I will leave you to rest undisturbed" he smiled slightly

(*chuckles while typing a response*)

Arinae nodded respectfully, deciding to leave the words as they were, not wishing to enter into a needless debate over who was more worthy of praise, though she knew she was the least to deserve it, and had many others to thank for making it through to this point in her task as leader.

It was with a nod and a solemn expression that she agreed to his suggestion. "Would you wish a few of your men as well as my own to accompany us in case our task goes awry? We can have them await us a distance away to avoid a crowded effort..." Arinae looked at him with a firmness set in her gaze, her mind set on seeing the task through correctly and with the least risk possible.

Aemornion nodded "I agree, but only a handful of men the most and not heavy armored. Stealth is our greatest ally in this situation and we must use it respectfully. The heavy clatter of shining armor and weapons might give us away."

After that he stood up and offered a hand to help Arinae up alike "And now i would bid you to take some rest, I will see to it that both your and my men alike will be prepared for our little...venture into the lions den that rightfully belongs to you and your people" he cast a slight a brief smile with a slight glimmer in his dark hazel eyes
