Darrell paused on top of the slight rise behind which his command of one hundred was waiting. He looked back at the fortress and saw the gates thrust open, as orcs began to pour out and head swiftly in his direction. He cursed quietly and moved swiftly to his horse. Mounting he turned to face Luinnar. "head back to camp and tell them we're going to be having company, take half of these with you. I'll command the rest, I'd like to discourage the foe from coming after us"

Jade sat up with a start, seeing hte gates fo the fortress open and the orcs pouring out.

"Call the men! Attack!" He yelled out at the top of his lungs for all to hear.

He ran and jumped on his horse, prepairing himself for the battle.

(k, hang on. One problem. The camp isn't close enough to the fortress for you to see what's going on. Sorry if you think i'm picking up things that aren't important, but I'm just trying to keep it vaguely realistic. After all, if you can see the orc coming out of the fortress you would have been able to see that we hadn't attacked it as you had expected.)

(lol. sorry. I and some of the other men are hiding in an ambush position still where we can see the fortress. )

Isteleth pulled up Sirith, she heared Jaden's cries, immediatly she rode through the camp, shouting commands at the various soilders, when the armies were preparing she then rode to her father's tent.
"Ada, they are returning, and they're not alone" she said hurrdily, Aragorn nodded at his daughter, he lifted his sword and buckeled it around his waist, he then walked out of the tent and mounted his horse, Isteleth was following close behind, they then set off at a steady pace, Legolas and Eomer following behind.
Quickly the lines formed, and each leader left to their designated section. Isteleth sat neatly on her mare, as she stood in front of the Lorien lines, they were moving slowly, making sure they were out of sight but yet in sight of the fortress, and then the wait....

(I'm confused too. just ignore any quibbles i have. I thought camp was further away from the fortress than that, for the purposes of realism. You generally don't camp that close to where the enemy is, unless your laying siege to them. But yeah... just ignore me)

(lol.. Ok let me see..... The camp is farther away fromt eh fortress and no one in the camp could see it.


But, me and some others left the camp and set up in ambush positions where we could see the camp. So when I see the activity I alert the camp.)
