I despise them....
We grew a bunch last year because they kill biindweed. (so it is said)
And we had a lot of trouble with it in our fields. Fortunately we got to feed them to our chickens.

I liked the story in and of itself. But being a die hard tolkien fan I found some of it, ... ah, how to put it... Annoying, and an unpleasant deiviation from the writings of the professor himself. I don't want you to take offence from this, I'm just saying what I think; these are the problems I had with the story.
The main one is your characters lineage. Elrond only had 3 children: Elladan, Elrohir, and Arwen. There was no other.
You also say you went with the Fellowship of the Ring. I've got to say that that is rubbish. We all know that story, and who was in the fellowship. This is a Lord of the Rings fan site, based around the tale Tolkien wrote. And there were only nine people on that journey, so that part of the history I find almost offensive. Such an infringement on the story we all hold so dear is not a good thing in a character history.
Also, the Palantir thing. Inventive as it is, only the Valar and those in Valinor could make such things. but I must say it was and interesting idea. You could do with explaining that part of the tale a little better.
One final thing. You may like to proof-read it. There were several mistakes in there, including wrong spelling of names in Tolkiens book.
Sorry if you were offended by any of that. Feel free to tell a mod if you did, I'm just saying what I felt. And much as it sounds like I didn't like it, it was a good read, and there were plenty of good bits in it. hope you understand my point of veiw

thats allright i did wonder about the fellow ship bit, so as i value your opinion i will change that. The reason that i have the plantir thing is that Anduril has this kindof deal with the vala which i'm still trying to work out. I afaied i can't change her liniage as that is who she is...if she was a random cahrecter i would but she was the first charecter i evr made after rereading LOTR for the 100 time. thankyou though

lol. What's the fun in making fictional characters if you can't alter the reality of the book in some way? lol. I thin it's fine if people want to stick to the story line but I think it's fine the other way. *shrugs* just my opinion. Non the less the character was nice in my opinion.

I'm afraid that any deiviation on the stories Tolkien wrote is a complete nono from where I stand, so we'll have to agree to disagree there Jax. The tales of middle-earth are very important to me, so I guess I kinda consider it heresy ('scuse the use of that term) for anyone to make a change on what Tolkien wrote.
I understand the lineage thing Anduril, and I can't expect you to change it. Though you could make it truer to Tolkien with a minor change. Not asking you to do this, 'tis just a suggestion. More how I would write this character. Here it is: you could make Anduril daughter of an elven lord, say a relation Elrond's if that link is important, who is Arwen's attendant. It is only a small step down, and is truer to Tolkien. I'm not asking you to change it to that, it is just how I would write that part of her story.
I'd like to check something though. You do know 'Peredhil' means 'half-elven' don't you?
The rest of the story is great. I have to say i was quite impressed with the vision bit, and the name change. Very clever
