Yeah, it's the Battle for Middle Earth 2, which I probably won't be able to get until the summer.

I thought it was out already because I have borrowed from a friend of mine. There is one thing I do not understand I saw a lot of elf heroes. Are they included in the book?

Yeah, Angel - every single one of the elven heroes is in the books. And yeah, it's out. I said that I probably wouldn't be able to get it until the summer.

I got the game somwhat recently. But it is really awesome!
Not the best RTS I've ever played, but it is without a doubt the best LOTR RTS EVER!!!
The Create a Hero could have been improved, there just aren't enough customization options. A nice touch would have been custom character portraits and custom meshes/skins, but they'd probably end up with a lot of non-LOTR characters and it'd seem wierd.
One fun thing I did was make Obi-Wan Kenobi and Count Dooko (Count Dooko V.S. Saruman, how funny!) And so I get Jedi's running around Middle Earth. LOL!
I really liked the Fortress builder. That was cool!
I highly recommend the Collecter's edition. It's only a little bit more expensive and you get so many neat in-game extras and a bonus D.V.D. with special features (game soundtrack, making-of featurette, etc.) Plus a poster/map of Middle Earth that shows where all the campaign missions take place.
I was wondering, how come Isengard can summon dragons? Saruman declared he was on Sauron's side in the Third Age right? And I don't remember him calling dragons to fight. Oh well. By the way, were Gorkil the Goblin King and Drogoth the Dragon Lord originally in Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings, or were they made for the game? I just don't remember hearing anything about them untill recently.

Great game!
Finished both good and evil campaign.
Thranduil and Legolas is favorite heroes because of their bows.
Favourite unit is the Lorien archers with silver thorne arrows and armour upgrades.
Favourite villain is Sauron and Mouth of Sauron. because Sauron is über strong and MoS got some great skills.
Don't really have a favourite unit on evil side, but I like the Giants and the Easterlings.
Toughest map for me was Erebor in both Good and Evil campaign.
Much better than the original BfME game.

The Gorkil and Drogoth are made up though Gorkil was based on that Goblin King in the Hobbit or something like that. I have it and it is awesome!!!!!

your crazy i like the elves. What you want to do is rush them with pikes cause the lorien warriors suk. If theres no rush then get archers and pikes. Even though the pikes arent as strong as the swordsmen they can reach over each others heads so their all attacking not just the ones in the front. The two powers that you have to have when your the elves is arrow volley and sunflare. Also my fav. hero is my cah and his name is mr.bob

Are you saying to rush the Elves with pikes? Cause one group of Lorien Warriors will easily beat a few groups of pikemen. I'd say get a few swordsmen batts and go harrass, elven buildings are weak. Cavalry is also a good choice incase the elves mass archers

I love BFME2.
In my opinion, the best hero is Galadriel.
