Aragorn wandered back to his chamber, he needed a collect something from there. On the way up he met Arwen and spoke to her, "Did you sleep well?" he asked.

"I was a scout." She said quietly. "I was always ahead with two other elves, Jemonia and Listren. They were both shot down by arrows before we got to the war."

Aragorn went to their chamber and found the knife that he was looking for, the elven knife he'd carried for a long, long time. Even here, in the safety of his own kingdom he still liked to have it with him.
After he'd fetched the knife he went down to the great halls were he and Arwen would have breakfast.
