"I am, too," said Evelyn. She picked up her suitcase and took it to her room, where once unpacked, she merely took out <u>Pride and Prejudice</u>, and lay down on her bed, reading.

After unpacking, Felicity began wandering around the mansion quietly. Before much longer, she ran into Macready and was sent quickly back to her own room with a stern warning. "Just for looking in some empty room.." she muttered under her breath once back in her room, and she sighed and went over to the window and stared out of it.

"What happened?" asked Evelyn, putting down her book.

"Macready caught me in an empty room and sent me back here..but not before lecturing me." Felicity replied, sighing. "Almost made me wonder what was under that sheet against the far wall.."

Evelyn rolled her eyes and returned to her book. "Probably the entrance to her lair. Be careful not to go there again, or you'll have her breathing fire all over you."

Felicity shook her head slightly, then turned back to the window and rested her forehead against the glass.

"What'sa matter?" asked Evelyn, putting her book down and walking toward her.

"Nothing..just boredom.." Felicity replied listlessly.

Evelyn smiled and put a hand on her shoulder. She heard momentary shouting from the next room, then sighed and looked at Felicity. "I think it's Edmund again," she said, almost laughing.

Felicity flushed ever so slightly. "Wouldn't surprise me if it was.." she murmured, looking away from the window.

Evelyn smiled, reading her like a book, but not saying anything. Instead, she too looked out the window, deciding to wait a few minutes before going to bed.

After a few moments, Felicity yawned widely, and blinked a couple times. "I'm gonna go to bed..night.." she murmured, before changing into her nightclothes and crawling into her bed.

"'Night," said Evelyn, smiling. She waited about ten minutes before changing into her nightgown and slipping into bed herself.


The next day, it rained. She walked into the library with the others and took out her book, sitting a little ways off and not wanting to disturb the others.

Felicity wandered around the mansion again the next morning, before eventually going into the library, and she quickly retreated to a corner after getting a book to read.

After about twenty minutes, Evelyn closed her book and sighed a bit more audibly than usual, her exasperation and boredom coming out quite clearly. "Sorry," she said when they looked at her.

Felicity shook her head slightly, looking up from her own book. "It's alright.." Peter said quietly, and Felicity shook her head, before glancing towards the window, where rain was lashing against it.
