Lorraine flinched as Aurora moved closer, but nodded slowly.
"When I was fourteen... My parents died... So I went to live with grandparents... They said it was my fault for them dying. So I.." She stopped for a moment, tears rolling down her cheeks, her voice cracked. "So I found my way to ease the pain..." She pulled one of her long sleeves to reveal dark red scars running up and down her arms.
