Peter felt the blood rushing to his ears as he glared at Jadis for a split second, and another loud scream snapped him out of it, and he quickly attacked and killed the minoboar that had tried to attack him. Peter turned back to look at Jadis, and found that someone else had beaten him to her..

Felicity had screamed in pure hatred as Jadis struck Edmund down, and without hesitation she had rushed at her, dropping her bow and drawing her sword, and the split second advantage she had gave her a chance to strike Jadis on the arm as she retrieved another sword. The next thing she knew she was flying away from Jadis and she rammed hard into one of the rocks nearby, and she doubled over, then looked up just in time to see Peter and Jadis locked in combat. She struggled to her feet and watched the fight, forgetting about everything else around her, and the next thing she felt was a very sharp pain in her back, and the world went dark as she fell face downward on the ground.

Susan hurried alongside Lucy and Mr. Tumnus, hoping to get to the battle in time...

Within a few minutes, they all arrived at the scene of the battle, and Aslan, atop the tallest rock, stopped at the edge and roared loudly, and the fight between Jadis and Peter stopped as the two looked towards the cliff.

"Impossible!" Jadis whispered, and as the reinforcements rushed down towards the battle, Aslan and the girls not included, the fight between Jadis and Peter resumed in earnest.

[I'll take the Witch?]

Jadis suddenly tripped Peter with her sword, then stabbed him through the elbow. She knocked his shield out of the way, and was about to kill him, but Aslan came out of nowhere and lept at her.

Aslan pinned her down on the ground and stared at her intently for a moment, before roaring and killing her.

Peter pulled the sword out of his arm carefully and got to his feet, and looked towards Aslan.

"It is finished."

Susan followed Lucy as she ran toward their brother. As they hugged, she asked, "Where're the others?"

Peter looked at Susan, remembering what had happened, and he then looked towards where Edmund had fallen.

Edmund lay on the ground, coughing and gasping. A dwarf came up from behind him, but Susan saw it. "Edmund!" she shouted. She shot an arrow at the dwarf and killed it, then ran toward her brother.

[Heheh here comes the dramatic stuff. ]

Lucy and Peter also rushed over, and as Lucy knelt next to Edmund, she pulled out her cordial bottle and took off the stopper, before hesitating and pouring a drop into his open mouth.

Edmund felt the liquid go past his lips, and fell motionless for a moment. Susan's eyes stung and moistened as she feared the worst. She looked at the others.

Peter looked to be on the verge of tears, and Lucy was trying hard not to cry, though a couple of soft sobs escaped her.

Edmund suddenly coughed. Susan's face brightened to a smile through her glistening eyes. She looked up at Peter and softly laughed from joy.

Peter breathed a sigh of relief and looked like he couldn't believe what was happening, and Lucy smiled as Peter pulled Edmund up and then pulled him into a tight embrace.

Edmund hugged his brother back, then smiled as his brother asked him when he was going to learn to do what he was told.
