Well me and my family have been looking alot into the origions of christmas and Easter and have found that a lot of the stuff in them and a couple other holidays are actually conected to ancient pegan sun god worship.... so we really don't do christmas or easter any more.

If you want information on it just PM and I will try to help the way I can.

hmmm....that's interseting. well, i look @ it this way. I celebrate Easter b/c I that Jesus was God's son, & on Easter he rose from the dead. So Easter may have come from some sun god thingy, but God knows that I celebrate Easter for him. As far as I'm concerned, that's all that really matters. But thanks anway. :-D

omg, i can not type 2 day. it took me like 5 minutes to type this!!! lol it usually would take like 2.

Well actually Jesus did not rais fromt he dead on Easter. He crusified wendsday before sundown and was in the grave wendsday night and thursday, thrusday night and Friday, Friday night and roase Saturday before sun down.

I think it is a good thing to celibrate it but God told the isrealites to have nothign to do with the sun god worship and said it was an abomination. (Which abomination is derived from the harshest word in the Hebrew language)

I know a lot of people have a problem with this information but I feel it is something that all christians should look into because I feel it is an issue that God spoke strongly about. But I do realize other people feel differently.

hmmm.....I guess so. I thought he died on Friday. he did, didn't he? b/c that's why it's called Good Friday. Right? ahve u seen the Passion of Christ? i haven't, but i think i will one day when i'm older. I've heard it's pretty intense, though.

Well... Ok. I will try to explain. (keeping in mind that naturaly not all of this can be 100% true. But I have come to believe for the most part it is. )

Good friday is in history the time that Dagon the fish god was worshiped. That is why a lot fo schools serve fish on good friday. Most of them don't even know where it came from but they just keep carrying on the tradition.

When Constantiene was the emporer of Rome he changed all sorts of stuff to mix all the religions together so all the people could be "Happy" So that's how all this got started.

Acordign to what they have found Jesus was raised on the Sabath, which is the 7th day, which would be saturday.

lol yeah. I respect other peoples views though. I am no one to try and change them. I just believe what I think is right and let everyone else do the same. :)
