Peter shook his head slightly while smiling, and set the apple core aside, then reached for a couple more apples.

Ev watched him and noticed the scar near his right eyebrow. "I remember the day you got that," she said, pointing to it. "One of the scariest ever - we almost lost a lot of people."

Without thinking about it, Peter reached up and traced the scar idly with one finger. "I know..I had nightmares about that day for weeks.." Peter admitted quietly.

Ev laughed again, smiling. "Now <i>that</i> I don't know if I have the patience for," she said, still laughing a bit. "I think all I can practice for is swordsmanship, riding, and perhaps archery," she said, laughing.

Peter nodded slightly and chuckled. "You've definitely got to have the patience 'of a saint' if you want to learn this, trust me.." He lost his concentration shortly after that and the apples slipped from his grasp as he threw them up, and they came back down and hit him, and he merely laughed about it.
