Once inside, Peter looked up, hearing footsteps, and saw Felicity. "There you two are.." she said as she walked over, sounding half-asleep. "You missed dinner."

Peter looked at her, and Felicity shook her head. "Oh, well..at least you got back..you two want something to eat, though? I'm sure there's something left in the kitchens." she asked, and Peter shrugged slightly and looked at Evelyn.

Ev pulled her hair out of her eyes and followed Lici. She didn't <i>look</i> tired, nor did she feel very much so. She just said so so that she might be able to turn in a few minutes early.

Peter stood back and watched. He would follow in a few minutes...after the noise died down.
Moving towards the Great Hall, Felicity smiled to herself as the lights were suddenly switched on, then she covered her ears as they walked into the Hall. A shout suddenly rose up, as quite literally hundreds of people appeared out of nowhere.
(They shouted surprise, jsyk..though I'm sure you knew..)

Ev jumped and nearly had a heart attack, but she <i>did</i> utter a cry. She laughed, a smile forcing its way onto her face. "Oh, gosh...Lici, my <i>hair</i>!" she hissed. "Darn Peter for not telling me," she told her out of the corner of her mouth as people approached.

Felicity looked back over her shoulder and shook her head at Evelyn, and continued to one of the tables, where she promptly sat down and laid her head down on the table.

Ev finally managed to get herself away from the crowd of people. Well, enough, at least, to be able to scan the room for who was there - or <i.not</i> there. She spotted Felicity, and went over. "What'sa matter?" she asked, "Was it as hectic as Peter's birthday? I highly doubt it."
