Jocelyn snarled her white fangs coming into few as she watched the man kill the horse.

Suddenly she noticed a clamor up ahead in the street. Her eyes widened in surprise when she thought she saw that there were vampires among them. She turned back to Cat and said, "Let's see what is going on over here. It looks...interesting."

Jocelyn ducked with the uttermost speed and grabbed onto the shaft of the scimitar as it swung past her head. With great force she pulled it out of the man's hand and threw it into the fields.
