Portia eyed Devina, suspiciously. "Why are ye bein' so nice ta meh? Wasn't it just a few hours ago, that ye had meh in a cell?" She slowly lowered the weapons and then folded her arms. She remained at a safe distance from them all.

Jack started to chuckle suddenly with a stupid smirk on his face, revealing some of his golden teeth. "I know why Portia." Jack's voice suddenly popped into the conversation. He swayed back and forth as he waltzed a step closer to Devina and placed an arm around her shoulder, "Old women are always nice...ain't that right missy?" He eyed Devina.

Portia looked to Jack and smirked widely at him. "What exactly do ya mean, Jack?" She looked down to his pistol and then tossed it to him. She then refolded her arms and continued watching him, somewhat amused.

Jack caught the pistol with a skilled hand and then twirled it around teasingly. "Ah, Portia, don't tell me that ye don't know that this old withered dame is eighty seven years old! Hah!" He wrapped his arm around Devina tighter to get her more annoyed.

Portia raised an eyebrow at Jack and then looked to Devina. "Impossible... but, how can she be?" She slowly walked in front of Devina and looked over her face, intently. She looked like she was trying to find the older look in her face. She then looked to Jack. "Oh, here's some other things, Jack." She handed him his clothes and then a bottle of rum was shown. She smirked and handed it to him.

Devina shoved Jack away roughly and glared at him "Didnt Mummy teach you to respect your elders?" she growled, then relaxed her features again. "And this old woman has a certain nasty streak, namely getting rid of annoying little boys such as yourself." She stood gracefully and returned to her seat at the head of the table. A long fingered hand selected an apple from the bowl. "Portia, Portia, Portia..." Devina sighed "I would've thought you might have heard of my little... secret."

Portia looked back to Devina, a little unsure of the whole situation. "I 'ave ne'er heard it... but, I won't make ya speak of it, if it's too painful, mate." She kept her arms folded and she put all her weight on one leg. She still watched Devina, closely. Since they weren't friends anymore, they both didn't trust each other. It was quite sad.

Jack snatched the apple that was in Devina's hand away from her. "I ne'er really had a Mum..." He grinned then took bite of the apple. As he crunched the piece he put his arm around Devina again, then said with his mouth full, "So, I don't know how to respect elders...funny old world in'nit?"

Portia looked back to Jack and smirked at his comment. She rolled her eyes and sighed deeply. She then turned her attention back to Devina, waiting for her reply.

Devina clipped Jack around the head curtly, hoping to make him choke. With the other hand she twisted the apple back and stuck her tounge out "Oh hilarious ... All this time and I still act like a child a little like you Jack dear."
She glanced at Portia, dropping the red fruit and stamping down on it, breaking it. "Painfull? Pain? I feel no such thing. And please stand properly- I know I'm usually informal-" here she removed one leg from the table top "but do stand straight. Give an old lady some respect!" She laughed slightly and winked.

Well, it worked and Jack choked on the apple piece. During the time Devina was talking to Portia, Jack was coughing trying to hurl up the piece as best as he could, while trying not to make it look obvious...

Devinas eyes flickered to Jack. She sighed loudly and clapped him on the back hard, her hand handed him the rest of her glass of rum. "Idiot.." she muttered somewhat fondly.

As Devina had hit Jack hard on the back, Jack gave a hurling action and swiveled on his heel then suddenly with a hack of saliva, Jack spewed up the half eaten, chewed up piece of apple on Devina's face.

Portia looked over to Jack and saw him throw up his apple on Devina's face and her face scrunched up in disguist. She almost gagged, but she just shuddered instead. She looked back to Devina and handed her her hankerchef. (sp?) "Here ye go."
