Edward glanced back and forth, feeling as if he were the only normal mortal here. He took a step backwards and whispered to Jocelyn, "Let us take our leave....I've had enough of this.."

Isolde nodded with satisfaction when the Arab left. Just because he was also a vampire did not mean she had to like him. Expecting her to wear a veil. She turned as another vampire and a human girl approached. She inclined her head slightly in acknowledgemeant and said, "Hello, Cassandra." She looked at the human and said, "I do not believe we have met." The vampire woman who had tried to leave with the frightened man seemed to be having trouble leaving. Isolde shook her head and laughed softly. She had had the same trouble before she had embraced the life of the undead. She glanced around and something caught her eye. A slender girl was walking out of the fog. Isolde walked towards her and said, "Hello."

Jocelyn looked from the vampires then to Edward. She was not ready to accept her fate so with a deep breath she moved towards Edward and away from the other vampires.

Edward gave a sigh of relief as Jocelyn took a step towards him. He then whispered to her and said, "For a moment there miss, I thought you were really stuck." He gave a slight wink then motioned with his head, "Now let's take our leave, I've just about had enough of this!" He grabbed her by the arm and as he was just about to take a good run he felt someone grab him by the back of his collar.

Jocelyn held her jacket close to her and was about to run with Edward when she was abruptly stopped. She turned her head to see someone grapping Edward and pulling him back.
"Edward!" she screamed in despair.
