Minas Tirith definately, around the time of The War Of The Ring. Before, Minas Ithil or Osgiliath(while it was capital of gondor) After, Osgiliath.

i voted Rivendell, because it's just so peacefull, and heaven-like. but Edoras would be so cool, too. imagine it: breathtaking views with moutains surrounding gorgeous, yellow plains, and your very own, beautiful horse to gallop through those plains. what more could you want? *sighs*

Oooooh I used to think I would live in Lothlorien, but just recently I find that Rivendell is more suited to my personality... Rivendell is a place of knowledge and scholars, while Lorien sees more fighting than anything else...

Lothlorien is so beautiful. And I'm seriously considering living in a treehouse for the rest of my life anyway.

Mirkwood, definetly. Lothlorien is nice, but a bit too sad and serious for me.
Also, I know what lothlorien is like, but there is hardly anything about Mirkwood in tLotR and I love finding out about new places.
Also, Legolas comes from Mirkwood ^_^

^ Well my Elf friend, I can give you some info about Mirkwood:
When you go in, all air movement stops, there is air thoug no wind.
No rays of the sun can penetrate the thick tree tops
When night falls everything goes pitch black, you can't see anything, not even you hand in fron of your face.
Is suffocating, hot and stuffy even for Dwarfs
And there are giant speders, waiting to eat you..heh heh, just don't get trap in the spider webs that are all around the place.
I think that one of the water sorces in the foest is poisonus.
Even in the day Mirkwood can be dark, just make sure you have a lamp
That is how I remember that Mirkwood is describes in "The Hobbit".
Hope to be of assistance.
