"I don't even know who my cousins are, you're lucky to have such a fair cousin to share your troubles with. When Faeron told me that his son Lathron had gone I had no one, I could tell no one how I felt and because of that I left, in every tree I saw his face and in every breeze heard his voice. I have no idea where he went." Laure said, her voice had gone so quiet she could barely hear it.

"I know how it feels to lose someone," Aramel sighed. "But what I have learned is that you always make new friends; new people to share your past with." She looked at Laure and smiled. "I had a best friend once; her name was Thenidiel." Her smile soon faded as she remembered her friend. "But, she quickly became evil and now works for the Dark Lord." Aramel's eyes closed and she tried to hold back tears. She and Thenidiel had been close friends.

"Leithio i philinn!" Laure called to the Elves behind her who send a wave of arrows above her head.

Aramel lifted her bow and pulled the string back with a firm grip on the arrow. She aimed for Sheiure and left the arrow fly.
It shot right through Sheiure's heart (if he had one) and the Orc captain let out a bloodcurdling scream. He fell over backwards in a pool of black blood and Aramel smirked triumphantly.

Laure smiled at the roar, the villagers were safely in Fangorn now, away from harm. She shot a couple or orcs and watched Faeron and his army kill orc upon orc. They would win this.

Aramel smiled at Laure and then shot two orcs with two arrows in a single shot. Both fell to the ground.

Laure moved Elen further down the field. And stopped again, they had a better aim from here.
Suddenly Laure head a scream, it was coming from Fangorn. She looked at Aramel, "That's Elenwe." and started off towards the wood.

Aramel killed off a few more Orcs before mounting Bree and following Laure inside Fangorn. She cried out Laure's name, but there was no reply.

Elenwe saw Laure and ran over to her, holding Tulie in her arms. "She won't wake up! I can't loose her, do something Laure!"
Laure climed down from Elen's back, "Calm down Elenwe, tell me what happened." She took the infant from Elenwe and laid her on the ground. She could hear er breathing but she would not wake. "Aramel?" Laure called out in to the wood.
Elenwe sat, she couldn't beleve what had happened, nothing could have prepared her for this. She'd lost her husband, she coudn't loose her daughter.

Aramel ran through the woods, desperately trying to find Laure. She leaped over roots and bushes, calling out Laure's name.
There was still no reply.
Aramel stopped and looked around. "Great," She thought. "Now I am lost."
Everything around her looked exactly the same.

Laure took out some half-fresh athelas from her pocket and crushed them between her fingers. The aroma slowly rose and Tulie woke, sleepy and quite cold. Elenwe crawled over o her daughter and kissed her head, "I'm sorry." She whispered. Then she hugged Laure, "Hannon le." She said, the only bit of Elvish she knew. Laure only smiled at her and picked the baby up. She handed the baby to Elenwe and took off her outer cloak and removed the pure white inner one, giving it to Elenwe for Tulie. "Wrap her in this." She said. And replaced her other cloak before going off in search of Aramel.

Aramel sat down on a rock and awaited Laure. She knew the Elf would return to look for her. After all, they became fast friends and something told Aramel Laure wouldn't abandon her.

Laure searched through the woods, she had been in here many times before and it didn't take that long to find the Elf, sat upon a rock. "Come on Aramel, we're needed out there!" Laure said softly and smiled faintly at her.
