Karn fell on hard ground, brusing his back. He lifted his head up quickly and rolled to his left avoiding the dog's attack. Karn sat up and turned to face the beast, thrusting his hands out to stop it's jaws becoming to close. He wrestled with it until he lay on his back, the hound's teeth getting closer and closer, then Karn had a surge of strength and quickly snapped the dog's head around, breaking its neck.

As the remaining dog lurched forward with jaws wide, Maihele angled her sai like blade forward, using the hound's force and speed to delve the steel down its throat, driving through till it appeared through the back of its neck. The force of the hound's attack had driven the blade so far in that Maihele's hand was in its jaws, but no life remained within the creature for it to snap down. Swiftly she pulled the long dagger back, but she did not sheath it, her focus darting to Naracelc.

Blood from her arm trickled down over her hand, then the intricate hilt, eventually coursing its way down the length of the blade and onto the forest floor. Maihele glanced then towards the horse, which seemed to be struggling to stand, though it was obviously in extreme pain. After a moments thought, she turned and looked calmly at Naracelc, her tone quiet.
"Would you kindly put that horse out of its misery...?"

Meanwhile her instincts told her to run, while logic told her to wait, and both worked within her as she carefully thought out her next move, knowing it would not be so easy to escape the second time around.

"I have other things to do besides give the death blow to a horse, now... the running stops, the fighting starts and ends with I dead or you imprisoned yet we both know that you are no match for me."

Neracelc said slightly stepping forward ready to strike as he handled his scimitar with both hands.

"Either I die or I escape... seems we have much the same idea concerning our outcoming," Maihele murmured with a sly smile. "Or... he will be more than glad to take your life..."
She had gone beyond the point of her desparation she had experianced in Minas Tirith, her instinct coming through the reaction.

With deft movements, she unsheathed her second blade, now holding both the sais, edging slightly sideways in a slow way, movements much akin to a feline, though she continued to face Naracelc in a cautious manner. Suddenly she stopped, her gaze seeking beyond the assassin, her eyes slightly widened with a hidden terror though they were obscured by strands of her raven black hair. With a quiet and slow tone, she addressed Naracelc,
"I would turn around if I were you..."

"Who is going to fall for tha may I ask?"

Neracelc laughed and let his sword hand fall down so that he held the sword with one hand in his side while the other went for his dagger.

"One who values their life..." Maihele muttered in a more bitter tone her focus straying behind the assassin again, her eyes narrowed slightly.
"She's right," a low voice called quietly from behind Naracelc.

"Hand her over to me and I'll pay you whatever reward it is you want, then I'll take her wherever and do whatever, and you get your pay, as well as your life..." the voice continued, belonging to a cloaked figure, standing beside a blue roan mare while at his opposite side stood two black hounds, the same as those which had been pursuing them.

"Merely name the price," a slight smile was seen beneath the hood, as he gave a careless wave of his hand. "I'll be more than willing to match it or better it, even..."

"So are you the one who originally put up the bounty I guess? Why didn`t you hunt her yourself, if you are here?"

Neracelc asked partly turning towards the hooded man, but kept his attention at Maihele.

The hooded man hesitated, then smirked slightly, "Aye, I put out a bounty indeed... but I hunt her as well, to assure she is caught. Now, since you have her pretty much cornered, I would like to take her and I shall pay you in full..."

"Don't listen to him!" Maihele hissed, her expression livid with anger, "He's the true killer, he's the one I spoke of! He finds pleasure in killing the innocent, and he only wants me because he has never again caught me like the other times... and he knows I will never stop haunting him just as he would never stop haunting me." She clenched her jaw, her hands held firmly to the hilts of her blades.

"Silence, witch!" the hooded man barked in an angered tone, fury in his glance as he took an infuriated step foward, closer to Naracelc and Maihele. It was then that he noticed Karn as well, and his slain dogs. "And who are you? Another bounty seeker?" He sneered, "You'll get your pay as well. Bind her up!"

"Ah... how familiar is this situation... now what should I do?"

Neracelc pondered out loud, he didn`t really need the money yet he didn`t have a guarentee about Maihele`s innocence. Neracelc grinned as he looked at Maihele and then took steps forward.

Karn rose to his feet and eyed the man up. He was curious to say the least. He walked quickly to the other assasin and put a hand on his shoulder.
"Sir I wouldn't..." His voice was low and commanding.
